Thanks for letting us know. I find it quite horrifying though that the cat rescue didnt first check out the animal before placing him.0

Hey go easy on this guy! I've just got a cat and got 'pet insurance' on the same day, however after 2 days of having her I realised there was a serious problem so I took her to the vets and I have been told that she has chronic kidney failure, does that make me a bad person, NO! This guy has taken on a cat when many are left abandoned, at least this beautiful cat is with people who care enough to get their cat treated, many cats go untreated for years or even life. x
Glad he is even more happy and well!!!! xxxx0 -
Glad all is going to be ok for Derek, this is good news.
Good you got him insured too although insurence does not cover dental - none of the ones I ever looked at did so this would not help in this case ...

Please be aware when posting, this thread is nearly 3 years old.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0

Are you aware, Darkiling that insurance won't cover teeth or ears on older cats unless it's accidental. I had insurance for all my cats for 10 years from Tesco and never claimed. When i tried for the ears for one of my cats, they wouldn't honour it.Told me "it's in the small print." It cost me over £200. Apparently all insurers are the same.0
