Definately. We were offered £50 by Tailwaggers Club Trust, which has helped loads. Just waiting to hear back from the Cattery now. Keep your fingers crossed!0

UPDATE!
The Cattery have agreed to meet half the costs of the dental work, so it looks like Derek can get his teeth sorted! Hooray!
Thanks to all of you who offered suggestions - I wouldn't have gone back to the cattery had so many of you not suggested it, so thank you thank you THANK YOU!

Well done, and such a pain it happened justw ithin your initial 2 weeks
You are being responsible in getting insurance. I am a bit shocked at the cattery though, they usually only give out cats when outstansing issues (excl ongoing) are sorted. Celia Hammond, for example, covers all future medical treatment for any ongoing issues, which is very good.

i love the name 'derek'
i wonder if he and my old cat 'trevor' would have got along0 -
I'm glad they have offered to pay half - i'm sure Derek will be delighted to get his teeth sorted:T:T
Photo please when you have a min0 -
does'nt surprise me in the slightest that they gave you the cat with health probs...we got one from the rspca once with a recent wound that had'nt healed properly..he ended up needing further surgery and meds which proved costly:mad: but more fool me for feeling sorry for him and adopting him0

Just to let you know that Derek has now had his teeth sorted and he is a very happy kitty!
Thank you soo much to all your support and advice. The cattery ended up paying the entire amount so we didn't have to pay at all!
