I've stopped shopping at Tesco in York because you literally have to ask for every single bag every time. I now shop at Morrisons and Sainsbury's instead. You do have ask for bags there but at least when you do they give you a reaslitic number for the amount of shopping you have, not one at a time.

As others have said if I was told I couldn't have any bags I'd like to thing I'd just go 'fine' and walk out. Dunno if I actually would tho!

In any case, I do reuse the bags, I use them to line the bins with!
