Most shops/restaurants will take on 16 year old part-timers. As its cheaper for them to employ you. When I was 16 - I worked in a restaurant, not the best of jobs.. as its dirty work but it was money at the end of the day so I wasnt too bothered!! Hope you find something soon with this economic climate.
