Congratulations CAZ, what a little stunna!! Hope my labour will be as quick!
Nicki- wow, lovely bump! I havn't got a baby bump as Im only 4weeks but Ive got a jelly belly so will never have a nice looking bump..nice and tight and round :(

I've posted a couple of pictures, I've got quite a decent 'solid' bump, despite being incredibly fat! Took a while for it to show, but it is obvious now.
    Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.

    Morning all.

Sorry to hear about the car AM, pain in the backside aren't they (cars)!!

Flooring in the bedroom...I don't really have a preference between carpet or wooden, but I would NEVER, EVER have wooden floors in the kids room, Firstly because they play sitting on the floor a lot (lego, card games, colouring, gaming etc..), so would be really uncomfortable for their poor knees and bums... and Secondly (most importantly!) because, they currently have a thick underlay and a very thick carpet, and STILL sound like they are about to come through the ceiling every 5minutes, with the banging and crashing!!!!!
But maybe you all have/will have have lovely quiet children;).

I know in my mums house she has laminate throughout every room, and when the boys were playing up in my sisters room they only needed to drop a little car or plastic cup and the noise was awful...I would be insane within weeks with that:eek:

    Mel x
You have never met my son have you :rotfl:

Are there rules about laminate in flats, or did I make that up?
My last HA didnt allow people to get laminate if you lived above ground floor.

Am I the only one who's been hitting the junk food this last week? *sigh* I just can't help it! Scones, chocolate, sweets... everything bad for me!
Have doc appointment in just over an hour and a half - will be interesting to see what she says :) hoping she'll write work a letter but no idea if that is likely to happen...

    Oh well :)

    so now I;ve caught up!
Went to town, got myself a pair of Addidas trainers, really nice for £15! exactly the same as the ones I bought DS last week which also cost me £15
Paid off the last of the money for the buggy, so thats getting delivered on the 6th March :j
Got all me 'wash bag' bits i needed, pair of pyjama trousers for in hospital, as OH bought me a pair the other day too, I will jst wear a plain maternity t-shirt top rather than proper jarmies.
Got me breast pads and maternity pads from boots, oh and also got the TT electric steriliser for £19. odd
Then went back into mothercare and got a lovely 8 piece starter set for £15 (had £5 off) in blue, which will be his official going home outfit! its up to 10lb which is great as I am convinced my baby is going to be huge!
So now just need to get the chest of draweres, and order the bumper set, still dont knwo what one I'm getting yet!
Probably wont be back on tonight, OH's Mum and Dad went up to Scotland earlier and we are looking after his little bro so staying at theirs, but I'll probably come home tommorrow lol

    Maybe lol
I dont know anyone with laminate in the bedroom, it's cold and noisy too!
But each to their own, you get dust on laminate too, infact you get bloody dust everywhere! blooming stuff!

Lol you ARE talking to the woman who has to sleep with the window open at night - even when it's -10 outside ;)

And yes you get dust everywhere but with laminate you hoover, wipe and 0 dust :) with carpet you can hoover till you turn blue - you can always find dust and dirt in the carpet :)

As I say it's probably just my Danish upbringing :) If you're brought up with carpets being thought of as dirty it's REALLY hard to change that - that doesn't mean it's correct - just that it's so firmly ingrained in my brain lol
