Morning(-ish!) all
I only woke up half an hour ago.. Don't know why I slept in so long but at least I don't feel green today
Might have croissants and jam for brekkie..
So much to do today.. so little motivation! Sounds like our next door neighbour is smashing his patio up with a hammer so little chance of "accidentially" falling back to sleep!
Feelie, can you do some jobs up to the point of needing things moving then write a list for OH and get him to blitz through it for you when he gets in? No fun for him, I know, but better to get it all done in one go so you can carry on - also better than you attempting it, hurting something and not being able to do anything at all!
Righty, brekkie time.. OH will be in from work soon!0 -
Afternoon all
Happy Birthday to Ickle:D
Sorry to still see you here MFD, I know how frustrating it is to go overdue:(
I am just trying to badger dh to nip down the shop for milk....nobody noticed yesterday but we were using out of date milk all day!!! It tasted and smelt fine though, and we are all ok today, but I realised this morning when I went to make the kids bran flakes it went out of date on the 6th!! So I still haven't had a cuppa today, he made his with coffee mate, but I can't stand the stuff i'd rather go without:)
I have washed the few bits I kept from my sisters friends bin bags of clothes and they have all come up lovely...There is a lovely Disney outfit and a lovely cardi, both looked barely worn, and one of those sleeping bag things...Which had tags on still:) and then I just kept 2 newborn tops and trousers....at the request of dhThere is no way any baby I give birth to will fit into newborn clothes:o

I am pee'd off with my hubby this morning too Sami.
Is it too much to ask for him to keep an eye on his phone and reply to a text? You would think that at this stage he would be watching his phone like a hawk.
I'm mainly pee'd off because he can just b00gger off for hours to do what he wants and I am stuck either on house arrest or having to 'report in' if I go out. I booked the bl00dy bowling for them, it was my suggestion but it doesn't mean that I want to be ignored
Now I have sent him an angry text saying it is a bl00dy good job I am not in labour and he has called twice. I am ignoring him to pee him off too.
Big dose of hormones anyone???please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Afternoon Tara,
Please please will you speak to the police about what happened last night even if they say there is nothing they can do, I'm sure if the house is used like a doss house then they will be aware of the address and possibly compiling a big fat file on it!
Have you any idea how you will punish the not so little monkey? Its hard enough to deal with teenagers but when you chuck in austism too its even harder  I hope he's better behaved than the autistic teen I know - how is a lovely boy but his parents are so clueless and lazy they don't tell him when he says something inappropriate or tries to touch your boob! :eek:0 -

Really Mel?? What size were your boys? I was thinking Bubba will be able to do newborn for a few weeks at least?
(although thinking about it the longer he is in there the bigger her is getting!!)
By the way - when the MW measured me last Wednesday my measurements were smaller than the ones 2 weeks before when she sent me rushing for the scan :rotfl: I knew he was sticking his bum out that week!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Tara - my sickness has come back sporadically in the last few weeks too, not been sick yet but I was about once a week at this stage with Chris
Mel - can u get him to get me some milk too? I'm still in PJs and its p'ing it down here soo can't be bothered to go to tesco!
MFD you teach the hubby a lesson
Chris was in "Tiny/early baby" size for about 2 weeks then newborn for about a month I think but he's a slow grower. Still praying this baby isn't huge like my friends 2nd one is!!0 -
ds1 was 9lb 6oz, and ds2 was 8lb 4ox, they were just soooooo long, the pair of them. Newborn mostly goes up to about 9lb so ds1 had no chance anyway.....and ds2 was 17days early...this one, however, is pretty much full term so I am expecting 9lb minimum!!!!
I will tell him Sami, but I wonder whether I'm even gonna get any:D

He's not severely autistic, and has managed over the years to find ways of coping. It's more a problem with language and understanding others. He has had 2 girlfriends so far and both have finished with him because they didn't get him. He just doesn't get emotions, the sort of socially inappropriate behaviour you talk about I dealt with when he was under 5, can't imagine what he would have been like if I hadn't.:o He muddles up words for things, ie washing machine and tumble dryer, bus and lorry. He knows the sort of thing he needs to say but can have trouble getting the right word. At school he's above average in some subjects, amazing in mental maths, but can't tell you how he got the answer and definately can't write it down. As for punishment, it's what I choose to do now that will decide which way this goes, better or worse. I'm going into the school tomorrow to tell them everything and warn them about this girls father, also gonna ask if there's a counseller he can talk to and I could go eventually if he wants. I have invited one of his nice friends over today to try and talk to him and will sit down after they have gone and am gonna have a long talk.Too many children, too little time!!!0 -

Interesting! Well we will have to see. I have packed some bigger stuff for the hospital too and I have explained to hubby my system of putting the baby clothes away (smallest nearest the front/top) then getting progressively bigger as you move back/down). So if I need to send home for more stuff he should know where to find it!!
