When my last labour started it felt like really stong BH, they were every 5 minutes from the onset and after 3/4 hours painful enough for me to draw sharp breaths and start panicking lol.

Atthe beginning they didnt feel any different from the other BH which really confused me about wether this was it or not.

I had been timing any BH for about a month hoping "this was it", so was delighted to finally find a pattern, they also started to feel stronger and deeper and move into my back.

No show, no waters breaking or any other sign though, and I delivered on my due date.

There you go MFD, have put you at the top of the list... Doesn't sound like you'll be there for long though!

Mine started slowly like on/off period pains and gradually got stronger (won't say worse lol) Fingers crossed for you that it all happens calmly and swiftly

Thanks Tara and MM, I feel slightly less like it's just my little girl that's turning into something awful... When I say she has strops, I mean full on screaming and shouting at me, if I ask her to do something she shouts no and then growls (?!) at me... She always ends up doing it because I don't back down and I don't give in to her, never have... But she still always tries it on... I was actually in tears last night because she was being really difficult at bedtime and then she started crying and telling me she just wanted to be a good girl... Took over an hour to get her to go to sleep in the end... And this morning she's been lovely again!

I went to bed feeling rotten last night and aching all over from shifting stuff round in the bedroom, was in agony when I woke up for the loo (why is it always twice as often when you're aching?!) Then when it was time to get up I practically jumped out of bed! Not aching and full of energy... Or at least awake, which I haven't been in weeks... Think swapping milk for orange juice must be helping absorb a bit more iron... Even if it is killing me with acid...

Krystal, I don't know how you feel but my DD seems to try and use emotional blackmail just a bit. Trying to make me feel bad to get her own way, to see if she can get away with it. Like you I never back down but do often have to walk away to keep my temper and as for bedtime, I would put her in her room and shut the door, if she sits on the bed and does not sleep, tough. She has begun to realise how it affects her the next day

Talking of DD, my Erin is 9 today!

My other friend had a baby on sunday.
I'm getting really impatient now, i want bubs now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got my health visitor coming round today, i'm ready for the preaching she's gonna gve me about getting abck with OH :rolleyes: she know nothing! lol
