Maybe so but ....................... mine doesn't incorporate PAIN. It will not feature at anytime of my labour because I am a wuss and hate pain therefore it will not happen. Oh and no tears either - OH actually WANTS to get started on the Perineum massage!!!!:rotfl:
Maybe a question for Weezl - (although haven't seen her on since early this morning - could she be in her birthing pool as we type?!!!!)
When should you start perineum massage and does it work?A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
raspberry leaf tea is undrinkable without ribena! just a small splash takes the leafy greenery herby foul edge off. i've also heard its nicer if you brew it on up and then let it cool and have it as iced tea though not tried that myself!Mummy to

That has just reminded me of a musical card we received with Salt 'n Pepa's:
Ah push it, push it real good!
Oooh baby, baby!

Problem is Glamazon, if you talk about labour without acknowledging the pain then people think you are being unrealistic

well theres a incentive to keep glugging the horrible stuff! the woman that sold it to me in h&b told me she tried it and went 11 days over but the labour was nice and speedy, not sure what would be worse a long labour or going 11 days over!!Mummy to

I'm just glad I like it!

Em - nice and speedy labour. Don't mind going over but plan to start the curry, sex and pineapple at 38-39 weeks to help things along. Oh, hang on - it wasn't sex was it? _pale_
MFD - I guess I could fit one little pain in there then just so people don't think I'm losing the plot
Tara - thanks tea it is :rotfl:
Right, so that's
RLT and perineum massage to shorten labour and stop tears
Curry, pineapple, sperm, gym ball, wii fit and walking to get labour started
Piece of cake :rotfl:

'ello! I am not in my pool yet!
We started at 35 weeks, and I think it's really made an anatomical difference! DH thinks so too, 'much more stretchy' he said. This is not in the context of any rude acts, just that he is very good at the P massage! We thought it was a gentle massage at first, but actually have found it best to be as firm as you can cope with for as long as you can cope with, and a little more each day is possible!
We're using a mixture of almond, coconut and jasmine oil.
Obviously the proof of the pudding and all...
