oh and Glam My friend used it for both hers and both were quickish labours, 1st one was about 10 hrs which I think is good for a first timer and 2nd was about 4/5hrs.
There has been a study done that found it DID work though, its on babycentre0 -
Congrats, Mrs Sugar!!! And enjoy your honeymoon
;)
Labour vibes to Durham! My MW's won't do a sweep until term +10 and even then its done at the assessment unit after monitoring. I passed it up both times as they were able to book my inductions the next day.
Sami, I'm sure I won't be back on the list by June (unless the pill fails me!). More likely July:rotfl:.
Oh, have you bought cosytoes for the P&T? I forgot about them!. Have been using the one from Poppy's Petit Star Zia but it looks a bit daft in red!
Hugs to all that need them x

No the only extra I got was the rain cover, I considered the sun thing but decided to wait n see.
I didn't get cozy toes coz Chris hates them  he gets very upset if he can't see his shoes so I have to use a small blanket that his feet peep out from under - he's a funny booger!0 -
Sami - I just searched forums and it seems Weezl posted on one of the old threads that none of the supermarkets did RLT but that health shops do.
H&B is £1.19 for 20 bags
Vit shop is £1.01 for 20 bags
Can't see anything about buying it in bulk.
Right seems it does work so I will def be taking it and adding Vimto as someone else suggested as it def won't be sweet enough for me!
OH still not said owt - ha ha leaving him to stew. Going to get myself a Cornetto - yumA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

I've just added it up and if I start on 1 cup a day at 32weks and then up it by 1 cup every 2 weeks and ended up going to 42 weeks I'd drink 196 cups!!!0 -
OMG
So I haven't got up to get my Cornetto yet as I'm just doing some work.
OH just went in the kitchen got himself a Cornetto and can of coke and is sat in front of the fire - didn't get me anything
Made him cups of tea and Roast Dinner today - just pointed this out to him and he said he's annoyed because 'Everything has gone wrong today' - pointed out not my fault. He said yeah, I know - asked where my Cornetto is? ....................
His Cornetto has just snapped in half so all the ice-cream is falling out the bottom :rotfl: :rotfl: Nearly wet myself laughing at him. MoronA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

BIG LABOUR VIBES FOR DURHAM!! (and no apologies for shouting there either!!)
We went and bought our new washing machine today (our old one finally gave up the ghost on friday) and it gets delivered on thursday. Luckily all our washing had been done, so won't need to ask my mum/MIL to do any for me!
We also bought some new curtains for our bedroom, I also bought some extra matching fabric (In true old school MSE fashion, I am going to make my own matching cushions for the bed. I felt very grown up asking for a metre of fabric - is that sad?)
Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set

That's a whole lot of tea Sami! I don't know if I'll be able to drink it... Not a big fan of fruit teas... And the only hot drink I ever have is normal tea... Might go for the tablets again...
I'm really annoyed... My oven just cremated everything even though it was only on 190 degrees... It did it a few weeks ago and then next time I used it was fine so I thought I was just going nuts... now it's done it again... Hope it's not another exploding appliance in my kitchen... At least it's under warranty!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Thought this was helpful to anyone wondering if its worth it..
"Raspberry leaf tea is nutrient rich and contains many of the vitamins and minerals necessary for a healthy pregnancy including vitamins A, C, E and B, magnesium, calcium and iron. Consuming raspberry leaf tea not only helps mother and baby to get all the nutrients they need but can also help to replenish a new mothers stores after the birth.
Raspberry leaf tea also contains the alkaloid 'fragine' which is said to strengthen and tone the muscles of the uterus, helping them to contract more efficiently during labour. Research has found that taking raspberry leaf during the weeks prior to delivery helps to shorten the second stage of labour by making contractions more effective. Some studies have also found that it reduces the need for an assisted delivery (i.e. an emergency cesarean or use of forceps or ventouse).
Sipping raspberry leaf tea during and after the birth is also said to help the uterus contract back down to size, reduce after birth bleeding and help initiate the let down of breastmilk."
