Yep 9.8 boxes of the stuff!! I bet if I find somewhere selling it cheaper in bulk I'll have to get 10 boxes so add to that my box I already have and then u know I'll give birth early and have 3 or 4 boxes left over  at least If I'm sick to death of it by then I can pop it on ebay
Equally you will need 196 tablets
If you're early and have it left over, I'll buy it off you! Oops I didn't say that
Are the tablets as effective as the tea? I'm not a fan of fruit teas without sugar in (defeats the point I know) so I will try the tea (was it MFD who said she adds Vimto?!! or did I imagine it) and if it's really minging I will resort to tablets.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Did somebody say my name??
I think it was emlou who has ribena in her RLT. I love the stuff, no need to sweeten, just brew and drink, with the bag still in.
I was actually just saying to hubby that the reason that I am drinking so much of the stuff is so I don't have to mess around with spoons and milk :rotfl:
Went out to catch up with hubbys family (and pick up our roast beef dinner from MIL!) and all agreed that I look better than I have in ages - less haggered so my MIL says :rotfl:
I have had 4 texts and 3 phonecalls today too...I'm not even due til tomorrow!
Sami - I have drunk 7 boxes of RLT in total so 10 is not really that out of the way if you are going to drink it to the letter. I have just increased my cups as and when throughout.
Right - I have a little bit of work to finish off and then I am putting in a concerted effort into getting hubby to succumb to my charms...please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Hee hee I so won't pop round to see you at work with some left over boxes of RLT
Yes the tablets are just as effective, in fact possibly more so as the only scientific study used the tablets not tea
You can add sugar/honey to the tea, I think it was emlou who said he added Ribena to it. MFD like me is a fruit tea drinker and we both like the tea "straight up" the brand I get is not minging but I know that fruit teas do take a bit of getting used to if you don't normally have them, When I first started them I used to put half a tsp of sugar in them but now I have them with the bag still in nice n strong
Edit : oops MFD has just told u that0 -
LOL Loublue - nobody is more impatient than me!
I am getting lots of 'he is going to be punctual, just like his mother, he'll be here on his due date' messages...what people will say when he is late I don't know!!
I have it in my head that he is happy in there and will wait to be evicted...which could well make him a Friday 13th baby!!
I'm overdosing on exclamation marks at the moment!!!!
You joining the gang when I leave then Lou??please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
WEEZL - if you're out there, did you really say two thousand mgs of calcium when labour starts??
am I right in thinking that that would be 5 of your average calcium tablets (ie 5x 400mg tabs) and have you seen if it matters that most calcium tabs have vit D in them too? or have you got some "pure calcium" tabs?0 -
I went off in a strop for an hour at 2pm, think I scared DH cos he started work at 5.30pm and when he asked where I was going, he was told none of his flamin business, when would I be back, when I felt like it. Came back at 3pm cos I needed a pee and he was really nice. Had hoovered and done some washing. So the occasional strop does work huh?
Kids requested cheese toasties for dinner (as DH is back shift I don't cook big dinners, kids are happy with pasta) and I'm having left over pasta, roasted red pepper, garlic and olive oil.
So, just got to bath kids, iron some clothes for tommorrow and then get kids to bed and I can settle down to watch Cloverfield and see if it's crap or not, and the rest of the nanny diaries.
ooooh! I made my first baby clothes purchase from ebay last night! A hand knitted hat and mittens set plus ordered 3 cardies and another 2 hats from the same woman. What I really am superstitous about buying is maternity pads for some reasonI buy them no earlier than 28 weeks which is fixed in my head as the earliest to have baby and for him/her to be ok.

Not that I know of. I like to lurk.A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition~ William Arthur Ward ~0 -
Well, I thought you had all been abducted by aliens - no post for a whole hour and 15mins!!!!
Sorry, MFD - it's so hard to keep up with who does what!
Sami - :rotfl:
i may try a mixture of tabs and tea - that way I won't get sick of the tea if I have to drink 4 cups day  and then not have any at all!! 10 hours in labour sounds like waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long even with the RLT.
Thought we had all agreed push, push, rest for a bit, push, push all over!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Lou - thought we had another addition to the list then.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
