BA Crew are fabulous

We travelled to Rome for the rugby this weekend with our daughter and they couldnt do enough to help on both legs of the journey.

Friendly, polite, mature, well turned out, understanding and attentive.

Fabulous experience and I feel like the journey was part of the holiday rather than an endurance experience at the end.

Just had to share that with someone!

Must admit,i've flown with them twice, and found them very good value.Of course others won't have.
  • It totally depends on the crew you get on the day. When I used to fly for BA I was very impressed with the cabin crew. But there were some bad ones ...

Yes - BA ground staff ! Their aircrews are always excellent.
  • Are you sure this is the same BA that I flew with and vowed to never fly with them again, hecne why they miss out on my flights when I go to America this year as well lol, but like others said, it depends on the crew you get, I mean the ones I got were rude, unintressed and made me feel small and annoying, this after trying to inisit that I was trying to board the wrong section of the plane in club world when infact i had paid for club world, I must just look like the normal peasent when I fly lol

Or perhaps it's the case that the OP was lucky? ;)

I've never met any others. BA cabin crew seem absolutely to hate passengers: it's as if they're an inconvenience or something...

I have done this, thanks for letting me know about it.

Sorry to hear about the bad experiences.

BA focus on their premium passengers, and so they recruit cabin staff whose social background is such that they can make premium (club and first class) passengers feel comfortable. These crew feel (perhaps justifiably) that they are socially superior to the mob in Economy, and are sufficiently honest not to conceal their feelings. They thus provide all passengers with an authentic experience of the English class system.
