  • I've actually emailed Amazon about something before and told them my books had missing covers, not a word was said!

They rarely do anything themselves it's like ebay. A buyer or even another seller will report you and Amazon will close your account down. It pays to be extra careful on Amazon. Try chatting on the seller boards for a while, they can be quite informative.

  • Thanks I will.

No-one has reported me but I did get some bad feedback from someone who didn't read the comments, didn't even bother emailing me to let me know they were not happy with the book just left me really negative feedback! I contacted them to say that i had listed the book correctly with the sellers comment on (before I knew about the book catergories etc) and asked if they could kindly change their feedback as it was incorrect plus my previous 100% rating dropped to 99. something.

I also emailed Amazon about it explaining the situation and they told me that I could ask the buyer to remove the feedback but not actually change it. There was no mention of what I did being wrong, but anyway the buyer claimed they didn't see it and removed their feedback.
