McAfee anti spam - help.

Hi.
For the last couple of weeks numerous times a day all the pages I have open close down. I then get a message saying to run McAfee anti spam update tool to fix the problem.
How do I run the McAfee anti spam update tool? I run McAfee updates every time this happens and it says that it is up to date yet the problem keeps happening.

Do you have the McAfee Spamkiller program installed?

I don't know how would I find that out.
McAfee was pre installed on my laptop when I bought it. I am using Vista and IE 7 if that makes any difference.

If you go to add/remove programs, what McAfee programs does it show?

All I can find is McAfee Security Centre.

Does it have the big red/green tick with 'Am I protected -Yes/No' and everything showing as protected or enabled?

Yes it has the big green tick and says that everything is protected.

Click on 'more', beside the 'components installed' box.

Expand the Anti Spam part (if it isn't already) and tell me what content version and update it says. I'll compare it against mine.
