I've got the mains one (it was £50 last month) - very happy with it. You can use an old floor cleaner once the ones that come with it run out. Which is nice

I've just ordered one, I like the idea of the mop. I have a marvelous Electrolux Electric Superbroom which is an absolute wonder. I don't suppose being re-chargeable it will gobble up all through the house that well, but crumbs etc., should be useful.... and I do luv trying these things.SallyD0

Thanks OP, this is great :j I have just ordered mine for the kitchen and bathroom. It is a pain having to vacumn with the big hoover and then mop, esp as I only have a little kitchen and bathroom! I used to vacumn and then use a flash power mop (not been able to get one of those in ages
) which was marginally better - but this look great! The kitchen floor always ends up with bits of muck from doggie's paws

there was no above address stated on their email either.
checked my confirmation of order email and it has a different order number!
Suggestions? Does this seem suspicious to anyone?

I think it's kosher as I have just got off the phone to them (ordered on 16/2 and no sign of it arriving). They said it was 'waiting card authorisation' and woudl then be sent to packing dept. When quizzed further as to why it was still awaiting authorisation when I had never had a 'situation' with my card in many years of online ordering, she became very vague and just said it will be sorted 'in the next few days'. Very weird way of doing business if you ask me...Call me Carmine....

i just rang and she could not see why payment failed but i reordered through her and got the standard delivery will within be 5-28 days i think! She waited on the phone and confirmed it authorised ok. Fingers Crossed! I did check my online banking first and no payment was taken. They must have an old payment system as most sites use the verifed by visa thing i find.0

I had the e-mail about the card failing to go through, but re-ordered by phone and she said it was okay now. She said it would be 7 to 14 days.0

I had one of these from Lakeland, got it in their sale last January for about £27 I think. Anyway, the hoover is a bit like a dustbuster thingy and not very powerful and the holes the dirt can go through are smallish so fine for dust and crumbs but no good if you have dropped a largish morsel (I have kids so that is quite often) so I found myself still using the dustpan and brush for a lot. in fact I found it easier to sweep into a corner and then use this to suck up the grit etc before I mopped. Mine stopped working after a couple of months so I sent it back but having said that I was heartbroken, it was so handy for the mop bit and it was handy having the hoover bit for the odd crumb etc even if I did have to resort to DP and B for the bigger bits. It isn't perfect by any means but it is still a great little machine. I didn't replace mine as Lakeland had stopped doing it so I ended up with a mop thing, which is okay but I can't be bothered taking it out and getting the bucket out so I must say I mop a lot less now. At this price if they still have them I am going to buy another. I still have the pads and some of the cleaning fluid. I hope everyone enjoys theirs when they get it.0
