    It's this... http://www.create-a-card-for-cancer-care.org/

I made 6 cards and popped into the little bags (I got mine from Crafters Cove). Going to post the cards off tomorrow.

Thanks for the link rainmac, I have passed it onto my mum, she loves making cards and her school supports marie curie through the year so I'm sure she will make a few up to send off.

    Good morning!
Kids had pancakes with ice cream, cream ,syrup, peaches. blargh! but they polished them off...I had a healthier baked potato!

I like a Wednesday, it's half way through the week and I'm usually busy at work so it goes by quickly.....not quite wishing my life away but just desperate to see my husband ...only 24 more sleeps for us! (aaawwh) but hey ho, onwards & upwards girl!

    Hope you enjoy your day,Mx
  • Hello everyone! Not been on this thread for ages and just wanted to see how you are all doing! So much to catch up on. You've all been so busy as usual.

I now have an extra little job in the afternoons when my DD2 is at nursery - delivering parcels in our village. I'm actually quite enjoying it and the extra money is very useful.

I managed to make pancakes last night and as baking is not my thing I was quite pleased when they turned out just like........pancakes!! Might have to do it more often.

Haven't been doing anything gift-wise but I'm still quite pleased with my 'haul' from the Christmas sales - shouldn't have to be buying anything for birthdays for the next while. However, if anyone has any ideas for gifts for a 16 year old girl I would be very grateful!! I gave her make-up at Christmas and I know my mum gave her a make-up bag. I normally end up giving her vouchers but I would like to give her something else (it's my niece by the way)

Anyway, nice to be back here!

    Love

    Gill

dd seems a lot better - may be it isn't chicken pox - but beeing poorly is so unlike her so I just assumed. Going to let her rest today and keep ontop of the house. She asked to go to bed last night at 6.30 (fell over backwards) so I think something must be not quite right!!!

Do any of you ladies do flylay - it's free - they give you cleaning rotas and challenges and send you e-mail reminders. Every day they give you a mission - here's todays as an example:

Zone 4(master bedroom): Mission #3 Wednesday

    Dear Friends,

Wednesday is Anti-procrastination Day. We are going to straighten up the floor of your closet! No more putting this off!!!!

Do you think you have too many shoes? While you are lining up your shoes; pick two pair to give away or throw away. The next time you are looking for the pair of shoes that match your outfit, you will smile because you will be able to find them without getting down on your hands and knees. This will put another smile on your face and keep your hair from getting messed up!

Ha Ha - they give you something every day to keep on top of things, one day it might be your desk or a kitchen cupboard - going to start doing it again cos I'm all tidy now I need to keep on top of it. Then I'll have more time to be on here and start making some christmas gifts.

They sometimes tell you to tackle a hotspot - take a timer and do it for 15mins and declutter a problem area in the house. I tend to work faster when I have a timer and with it just being 15mins a day I don't sicken myself with it. Worth havong a look at their site anyway. It's very like OC in it's concept.

I had a good day yesterday, trooped round the charity shops and found a nice book which opens up to make a medieval castle still in its cellophane, paid £1 for it, will suit one of my Grandsons down to the ground.
Also got a medium sized soft toy cow still with labels on for £1.50 which will go nicely towards my eldest daughters present.
And I found a beautiful Monsoon top which looked brand new for £3.30 which I am over the moon about. (Edit thats for me lol)
Finished my Dads 2nd cardigan too so will have to update my list, I'll post it soon as I have done it.
    Happy Rudolph Day everyone xx
  • Happy Rudolph Day to everyone :)

Well i have been busily saving jars to make, jars of nothing.
Since last month i have bought 2 more gifts using my boots points
Benchmarket the Tesco points i have left well £45 of the £56 i have left for DS (18) Christmas gift. They are tucked away in my gift notebook ( the one that stays at home ;) )
Gifts for birthdays and mothers/fathers day are bought, just not wrapped. But i still have to make mums journal jar and buy a notebook. Also i had an invite to my friends 40th birthday party, so i need to search through my book to find her something suitable :)

    Hows everyone else going ?
furrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:
About me. Im Choccy or Chocolate orange depending on where i am.Yes occasionally i am a total looon who spends too long online, but no where near as much £ as her spendy elves do ..:D
