    Hello everyone,

I am really sorry if I made anybody worried, I didn't mean to. I haven't opened this thread since I last posted because I just couldn't face it right now. The past few weeks have been like hell and i'm so emotionally exhausted.

Something horrible has happened in my family but I don't want to talk about it really and i'm just slowly letting it sink in and go away. My new work went up on Scrapbook Apprentice and my best friend told me that this was the worst work she had ever seen me do and my 'stuff' is usually much nicer. I know I shouldn't go on the SmackBlog but curiosity gets me everytime and each time I check they're saying how rubbish my work is, how I don't deserve any votes. The house move was a heartbreaking let-down and my house is just covered in boxes and chaos.

I decided to let it all go and take us to Thomas Land.. As soon as we got there Logan decided to be in a mood and wouldn't enjoy anything and was very rude. Emily is going through a naughty stage that I remember Logan going through last year, she has decided she will just wee in her trousers now instead of on the toilet. I spent a whole day moving her bedroom around so she could have this Dream Cottage finally built in there that she had for Christmas. She went in there and wee'd and I am not kidding it was as if someone had a hose in there. All the wooden furniture and everything was soaked. I don't know if they're going to be any good now because i'm OC and scrubbed the life out of everything.

A lot more has happened but those were just the highlights of my fortnight.

I am having serious thoughts about quitting the internet completely and getting on with my life. I am human and I do need validation. I make my art for my family or for the recipient and I put everything I have got into it but I still like people to say it is nice rather than how awful it is. At the same time, I don't want to be lied to.. so if my work is really this bad then I should stop posting it and making a fool of myself.

Every month I start and tell myself to think positive and be positive. I don't let myself think negative thoughts about people. I don't let anything worry me. My life instantly becomes happier and I feel good. Then slowly one by one the things just start rolling in and covering me.

If I didn't have the internet I could save a lot of heartache right there.

Geesh talk about offloading and venting. I'm sorry everyone :(

Today is a lovely sunny day and it is the weekend. Don't sympathise or pity me.. just tell me why your life is so great today and fill me in on how you are and funny stories from your past if you have any x I just want to be happy x

OhhHhh I love the Disney store. I am not very happy with them at the moment because remember my tragic tale of how my daughter left her teddy and rabbit at the park? Well she kept sobbing about losing rabbit so I rushed to the Disney Store one night and asked if they had any. The rabbit had been a special limited edition and they was all gone.. but hang on.. there was one last one in the window. She got it out and it was filthy with no tags. After waiting half an hour for a code look-up she sold it me.. for FIFTEEN POUNDS!! I'd only paid 4.99 for her other one (because I had spent 20 pounds in store) Unbelieveable.

The thing is, I had already told her the story (not that she conveyed an ounce of emotion) so she knew I wanted it badly.

Right Mrs Mel ... first things first ... you don't want sympathy or pity so you aint gonna get it .....

I shall send you a hug thought cause everyone needs a hug from time to time and today is your turn.

Your work ... I think you already know how good your work is, forget about one nasty minded individual and I suggest you delete the link and stop reading what they say! they are probably only jealous that you can do such nice things and to be honest if your *best friend* can be so bl00dy minded and nasty then she isn't worthy of being a best friend. You are very helpful and inspiring, without you I would never have tried stamping, nor would I have tried to do so many other things that I now do so for that I am thankful ;)

Both of your beautiful children are loved more than anything in your life, that doesn't mean they won't push the boundarys til you feel at breaking point. They are both very young, and also both very close in age, they will be bouncing off each other and both trying to push buttons which you would rather were not pushed. Not sure why Emily is just peeing in her pants but maybe that is an age thing? can you speak to your health visitor about it?

Please don't get rid of the internet, without the internet we can't see your lovely work and have your daft rudolph day challenges and generally all be friends, you know we are all here for you no matter what, if you want to scream and rant then come here and do it ... we may well laugh at you for screaming, but we will pull you together and help pick you back up again!

Why is my life so great today? erm it isn't really, so much going on but a few highlights are ... I have loads of new stuff to play with, and a kind lady off here sent me a massive box of stuff as a thankyou so now I don't know where to start!! .... Also I have a stockist for my nappy cakes ... WOOHOO!

Fill you in on how I am - Errr have you got all day? ... I am fine, still in pain with my leg but now on my third painkiller free day, although I gave in and had to use deep heat last night :(

Not really a funny story but ... My girly will always give you a laugh ... the latest is wanting to help with everything ... she picks up cups and drops them in the kitchen so they smash all over the floor, she shouts and screams HELP at me when I am trying to make food cause she wants to help, she spent the day running round the other day with a weetabix box on her head!! ... she now has pink hair cause MIL gave her a pink glittery cowboy hat which she refused to take off and everywhere is covered in glitter .....

Anyway keep your chin up .... if you don't I shall be forced to drive to your house and bring you pink chocky covered strawberries!!!!!

    xxxx

Rainmac - Was just an idea ;) I may well keep it all but I reckon I should show willing to try and make some of my money back ;) you never know it may well pay for me to have some more when I run out!

PLM - Have you looked on ebay? they sometimes have them on there? I know the one you mean aswell as we opted for the tigger instead as Maddison chose ... she can't go anywhere just lately without him :(

Orchid - lucky you! have a lovely time ;)

Scattymam - I love the disney store!! have a lovely day ;) and well done on the sealed pot

Jamtart - thats a shame about the challenge, but nice that people are willing to let others know of their experiences :)

Mel, Mel, Mel I want to hug you and share a giant bar of chocolate and tell you that you are fab and support you to do whatever you want to/need to. I am one of the biggest fans of your work and think your stuff is fantastic. So sorry you're having a rough time, if I win the lottery I will be asking where you want to move to ;) Kids, well they are great when they're great and when they're not can be real nightmares . We took Jack to an open farm place when he was younger and he was terribly behaved, I was heartbroken at the time but looking back think that kids are allowed to have off days just like us grown ups (I have way more than my fair share ).

Sending you a HUGE cyber hug :D

mel - what can I say ? Rusty has said it all really..............we all get those spells of 'negativity' -everything seems to fall around our feet and we end up waiting for the next disaster to happen............but things do get better. Life is full of ups and downs (sometimes it feels like there's more 'downs' ) but you've a lot of virtual friends on here who understand and support you so please don't give it up.........youd be so sadly missed.
So get the choccies out.............and don't forget to pass ''em round.:EasterBunI know its not Easter mel but it's the onlt choccie I could find................lol

Rusty - what an image...........your daughter running around with a weetabix box on her head:rotfl:
Glad you seem to be reasonably 'pain free' but don't over do it just the same.

I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

PinkLadyMel - Don't you DARE give up on the internet and in particular don't give up on us!!!! 'cos that's what it would feel like if you stopped coming here. Just give up on that thread that makes you feel bad there'll always be people that try to bring you down usually to boost themselves in some way.

This isn't [STRIKE]sym[/STRIKE]pity, I'm sorry you've been having a bad time lately, but you know as well as I do that the tough times are sent so you know the good times when they come.

About Emily & peeing her pants, could it be attention seeking? My Goddaughter reverted from being perfectly toilet trained to peeing & pooing all over when her brother arrived. Could something have upset her? Could she have a bit of a urine infection or is it more deliberate? more questions & answer there.....I'm the last person to advise about kids 'cos I haven't got any but my Mum was a fount of wisdom so I base my thoughts on the way she brought us up. 4 at 7 and under!

Funny (slightly)- We went out for dinner last night for my belated birthday outing. I'd booked the table for 10 people a week ago, & confirmed it on Thursday evening, so far so good. I only realised when they took us to our table that there were only 8 of us and there is only ever 8 of us! I then set fire to the menu on the table candles! - Not one of my better days!

PLM Don't you go anywhere (although I do think you should stop looking at that horrible thread which is full of nasty jelous people)

I love your work, I really really do, I love the way you work with colour and different textures, it looks sooo modern and the sort of thing you would expect to pay a fortune for in a posh little shop....I hadn't been on for a while and when I came on here I was wondering where you were as I love reading your posts (apart from obviously when you are down)...

Sorry to hear about your family problems, your kids are just being normal though I think, my twins are really really difficult at the moment and just basically destroy the house at all opportunity, I get really really stressed...I try to tell myself that it will all pass and not to worry about the mess etc. but I just find it all so hard sometimes, so I get where you are coming from...

Sorry I know you didn't want sympathy but I really don't want to lose you on here chick...sending loads of cyber hugs and cyber chocolate :iloveyou: we all do!!

Ok a nice thing about today is I am off to my in laws for a curry evening later with the kids and dh and we will be seeing my lovely brother in law who is down from Scotland for a footy game tomorrow (Must be ManU but don't know who they are playing) so it should be a good night..also dh will be home from work soon so I will at least have another pair of hands!!

Rusty I wish mine wanted to help tidy up, they don't play with toys, just sort of scatter them all over the house!! am seriously considering binning the lot at the moment :D
