    Hi everyone,
I've applied for a college course in september in Health Studies a 2 year diploma course, where i can then go on to do HCA and then my nurses training course. I'm so excited about it :D
I would prefer to work in A&E, is that general nursing or is that something else??
On monday to help my application i've decided to do some flexi care work as i get more money and more hours *woopwoop*
Worked out only need to save £200 for spending money as i have £300 in a premium bond, although i'm putting it into an isa for a while before i take it out. Does anyone know of any isa's have a good rate and does it matter if i take it out or is it fixed?
I've looked but i will have to have a ganders at the main site:D
I'm so excited about holiday, i may go with an empty suitcase and a holdall with my clothes in OMG I'M SO EXCITED!!!!:j:j:rotfl::rotfl:
Finally sent that ebay item oops, was really bad of me but i did sent her a courtesy email. My own fault.
Anyhoo i'm off for a bath, work early in the morning :( then got to get the place sorted.

    Love and hugs
    ..xx
I am only me, no pretences, no second guesses.. It's the best I can do, I'm sorry if that's not good enough for you... I'm sorry I'm not good enough for you :A

Hey girlies, wondered if you could give me some tips on getting rid of smell from old jars? ive been trying to reuse old pickle and sauce jars but cant get rid of the smell properly even after soaking them overnight. what can you girls suggest for me to do? thanks so much.

Whenever I have this problem I put a couple of teaspoons of bicarbonate of soda in the jar, dilute it with water and leave it overnight. It usually does the trick.

Wow, fab story, you must be soooo proud of your DD and she musy be over the moon that she is in the paper and famous :D Lovely pic too x

Rusty - so pleased your pain has subsided, don't go overdoing it now will you ;) Great idea to sell some of the card candy! I thought I would sell some of the die shapes using the Quickutz but haven't got round to it yet. On the backburner but I still think it's a good idea.

For May's money neutral challenge, this may take a bit of time and effort, but even if you only get a little bit of money back, at least you will have had a de-clutter and tried your best.

Anyway I saw this post on the forum and thought "hmm...." The post says:

Well now, after a bit more digging, I found that the site is called http://www.crazyaboutmagazines.com/ and as you can tell from the post above you need to list the magazines and send this off to the people via the "contact us" button, so more effort than Music Magpie but a similar concept. Now, I've got NO idea about how well this site works for paying people, but I did PM the poster of this and am awaiting reply.

Also you could do some research on eBay to see how much they would sell for there, or local bookshops or antique shops may even take them. Any old manuals etc. lying around? Someone on eBay could be desperate for it!

So good luck with May's challenge, not quite in the same league as the last one and probably not for everyone, but if someone makes a few pennies, I'll be a happy Jamtart :)

    Hi Guys,
sorry to say but we'll have to pull this month's challenge (above) as the original poster has contacted me saying she has had many problems with the company (which is apparently NOT crazyaboutmagazines! she got confused!) so has asked me to remove the challenge until issues resolved as she doesnt want anyone else having problems too.

Off to the disney store today. DD has a sealed tin in which we put coppers and five pences and the occasional 10p and when it's full we said she could buy whatever she wants from disney - well - we opened it and there was nearly 50pounds in there. Seemingly her grandma (my mil) has been putting pounds and fivers in (fab), we've had it since christmas, so she's going to have a field day.
And no extra money is going on our day out then except for a meal out but we've decided on burger king - one cos it's cheaper and two cos there's some fab new burger my husband wants to try!!!!!!!

Eventually got dd's birthday present so waiting for about 15.00 cashback and still trying to get my fridge freezer sorted with cashback too. Hoping the cash back will have a big part in money neutral christmas.
Got about a fiver from ipsos yesterday for a looooong survey.
And I sorted out my present cupboard yesterday so I can see what is in there now :-)

Have a god weekend everyone xxx

One of the fridge freezers I am looking at is through boots and they give you 50 pounds on your advantage card - imagine that - that would probably help cover most of the women in the family for christmas !!! But I think I have a double card points voucher somewhere!!??
