up above the streets and houses...........
you maybe have to be a certain age to remember that one!
as I am a 'certain age' it is not a problem for me!

lovely day here, had a good day at work but have just had a phone call from orthodontist to say my daughter had missed her appt...at 3.45pm.
I am mortified.......totally forgot, I am never late , am always early and obviously have not picked up my diary since before we went away.

So ,in case I forget it's now next Monday at 4pm!!

    Hi everyone

I haven't posted for a few days as life has been very boring.
I've read all the posts and tried to thank them all - if I've missed anyone -I'M SORRY :p. I know what some people mean, I sometimes think I get less thanks than others, or don't feel as welcome because I don't contribute as much as some people.

But.. I have made another £20 this weekend so :D

Uh oh, i've come across a brilliant craft shop today! It looked small from the outside but it was really big and it had loads of stuff. I can't believe I never knew about it! I spent ages in there, well over half an hour. I was very good and only spent £10 though, could easily have been £110! I got some dovecraft 12x12 papers, brads and chipboards (it's a nice little tin with over 200 in!) all in Glamour, some pink card, 12 different kinds of embellishments and some tiny foam dots. Really pleased with all that! :D

I've just had lots of fun sorting it all out. Hehe, am I a big geek?:D

Going to attempt to make something pretty now, I do love craftyness :j

    Hi everyone,

hope all is well in the thrifty/ gifty world. :-) I've been busy as a bee. :-) I need a holiday!!! :-)
I was gonna mention lots of people and reply to all but now I read all them 4 pages I forgot what I wanted to say. All I can remember is: a red dress, lots of late night giggling, mhaggie's load of washing, disneyland and halloween, and the rudolph day. I am quite useless I must say. :-)

Hayley, just had a look at your blog - I love the background on it - how did you do that??? And also, I don't know how that happened but on my editing options I can't choose the letters size, alignment and all that lot when I am writing a new post, all I can do is to underline or italics, insert a pic or a video, and that's it. Where have all the options gone? I am really useless. :-)

Do we know if lovely coffee maniac :-) Sarah is alright?

Shevs and goochie - hope you are keeping positive and getting lots of interviews and job offers coming your way.

Sugarspan - r u alright? Do take good care, and lots of love. And to Jammy as well. xxx

Skiergirl - "I haven't posted for a few days as life has been very boring." I would love to be in your shoes Skiergirl . :-) Well done on making £20. (I am hanging my head in shame, again :-) ). I haven't made a penny in last 2 weeks or so. The surveys have dried up for some reason and vo are investigating my account. ??? I contacted them but no joy from them so far. Just a bit worried about the personal details but they do have T&C so hoping all will be well.

Oh, and a pearl of wisdom for today - what you concentrate on - grows. :-) So, I am being extreeeeeeeeeeeeeemly positive, as you can see. :rotfl:

Forgot to ask before - does anyone get anything for referring me to Bingoports, if so feel free to PM me :D

I've noticed I haven't had as many surveys - I think I've only qualified for 2 in the past week

I've been a very busy bear today - mainly coz I've promised myself a crafting day tomorrow as I have the day off and the other 2 will be out.

DD had a teacher training day so the out of school club was closed so I had to take today off as well .

    I have:
    hoovered and dusted right through
    tackled mount ironing
    washed up
tidied everywhere and put everything away including the ironing
knitted most of bag no 1 of my 50 challenge
and cleared out the freezer (found 2 things with expiry date of 2007 :o)

Only have DD to bath and hair wash ready for school in the morning and decide what I'm going to make tomorrow - what's the betting my plans will go pear shaped :rotfl:

    GRR!

The hotel from hell where we held our wedding reception called this afternoon to ask why we're disputing the extra charges they put on my CC after the wedding. I refused to speak to them since I'm sick and we've just had a beareavement, but the sheer gall of them!

Just what you need not!! We had some weird things on our bill last August but managed to get them removed - wasn't much but it was our money not theirs.

Sorry you're not well - put your feet up and take care of babyspun and if you need a moan you know where we are :hello:

It's on Stamford St in Ashton, it's called Create with Cards, just past Barclays on the other side :) It's really messy and disorganised but they really do have a lot of stuff, I was in heaven :rotfl: :D

Aurora - I am rubbish with blogs, took me ages to figure out how to change the background! I get the backgrounds from http://www.thecutestblogontheblock.com/ - they're really pretty and they have loads. Just click on one you like and it gives you instructions on how to put it on your page :)
