Awww Mel i'm sure nobody dislikes you, how could they?? You're lovely
I sometimes think my posts have got less thanks than others but some people just whizz through and read the odd post and just thank the ones they read (we do chat a lot :rotfl:) This thread wouldn't be what it is without you Mel so please don't ever feel like you're not liked. I'm sure I speak for everybody when I say we love you to bits
Rusty - I suffer from a bad back every single day and it is a nightmare, I haven't found anything that helps apart from really strong painkillers that make me feel a really woozy so I try not to take them much.
I actually had the worse pain I ever think i've ever had in my back today, it lasted seconds (thank god!) I was walking down the street and I just got this sharp pain in my back and right down my leg, my leg gave way and I nearly fell over! I had to walk really slowly home and it's been so sore since. Hopefully it'll feel better tomorrow.
We've been out tonight for OH's mums husbands 40th, I so didm't want to go. I made a lot of effort to get him lots of little presents then I was going to do a hamper but I just couldn't get it to look right and I got all stressed out and upset myself so didn't feel like going out but I knew my MIL would be upset if we didn't go and I'm so glad I did because I really enjoyed myself. My OH's nieces (well can probably say my nieces now as they were calling me UNCLE Hayley :rotfl:) were being a bit naughty, well very naughty actually but eventually they calmed down and they were ok. I'm a bit tipsy actually, only had two glasses of wine!!!
Went into WH Smiths before and noticed they had some crafty stuff on sale, mostly easter stuff (I can never find crafty stuff in there usually!) so I bought some bits and bobs (including some nice papers) and I got some card making books from the library so might try and make some cards tomorrow, haven't done any for a while.
I'm going to get to sleep now, so tired. My uncle rang me before 8 this morning to ask me how to turn a laptop on, I kid you not! Then he called me lazy because I wasn't up! I called him something that isn't repeatable on this site!! :rotfl: I couldn't get back to sleep properly after that so i'm really sleepy now.
Hope everybody is okay, nightxx
 Think happy & you'll be happy
I :heart2: my doggies

I didn't realise you weren't supposed to picnic in disneyland! I planned to take loads of bread and cheese and really don't want to have to pay their prices for food. do biscuits count as a picnic?!
awww mel when i read your post I actually thought how well written it was and how well it came across. I probably should have written that but for some reason didn't - sorry! I am sometimes not too good at thanking posts - I am so busy reading them i forget to press the thanks button. it is easy sometimes to think why has my post not been thanked...and I have been guilty of that a few times. and as for people not liking you...I love you and your posts (roll on rudolph day!)
I hope the NCT sale goes well tomorrow. OH is taking everything for me and setting it up - much easier for him to carry the boxes from the car!!saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
£60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j0 -

Plums, I find you offensive, its the pink in your name, you know how I feel about Pink
& we know you dont try to be a doctor coz you write too neatly.
Uncle Hayley, your lucky with whsmiths, mine never has anything off the craft stuff
Bunbun, what does NCT stand for?You cant take a step forward with both feet on the ground0 -
:rotfl: You are one funny lady!!!
NCT stands for National Childbirth Trust
I am not really here ... I am just a figment of your imagination xxxRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Hi Rusty hope your backpain will be a bit better today, if you can't see your doctor do you have a nice friendly pharmacist you can go to? Volterol can help if you are having muscle spasms and you can buy it now over the counter. A good pharmacist should be able to help advise you in the absence of a doctor.
Hope everyone else is ok? Haven't been feeling too good for a while, I do read all the posts, but haven't been up to posting, my life seems a bit boring compared to everybody elses!!Here I stand, foot in hand
staring at the wall
I'm not quite right at all0 -
PinkladyMel - As Rusty put it so well "don't be silly mrs" Yes, we do love you on here and have missed you. Don't ever worry about it. Re: posting I hope I haven't missed thanking you 'cos I think your posts are very well written.
Thanking Posters is a very random thing - I never used to thank unless someone said something specifically aimed at me, then I started thanking everyone and now TRY to thank everyone but get carried away by the posts & then forget to thank anyone.
I think sometimes posting on here moves so fast that it's hard to keep up & I've wondered from time to time if I'm not welcome here because I'm not very thrifty (selling things & making money) but decided it's because we are such a big fast moving thread that things sometimes get overlooked.
So after all that........ Please don't be upset or take offence - stick with us. M x0 -
What is everyone in bed

Ms Jammy I am watching for your post count to start going up soon, or i will fill your PM box with fluff
No honestly ladies we had enough with 'Nappycakegate' please lets not have a 'Thriftygiftygate' too
I must admit too, i am the worse one EVER for forgetting to thank people on posts. I just forget !! ( Its my age and the tablets) But i do have spurts when i remember and then thank everyone. See just being here and being part of this community is thanks enough for me. It makes no difference how many stars i have for posting no matter how many thanks i have given or received. I have made some great friends and thats enough for me. I give thanks everyday for having the health, warmth and love of family and friends. We all have lows in our lives. Thats again where i find the strength to carry on, through the fantastic group of friends be they 'virtual' or 'real' that i have found on this thread. I may not mention everyone in every post ( i do try to mention as many as i can ) But i can talk for Englandhave you noticed that ?
So i try to be good.
