Woh haven't been on here for ages but I'm afraid I've embarked upon a whirlwind romance with the twlight series of books and can't put them down. If I'm not reading them I'm googling about the author or the movie. It's totally fascinating, and I am loving the books. (Thanks to plm she suggested I read the books, so blame her that I'm not around much -lol, only kidding, thanks mel I'm so enjoying them) I found out the author was mormon and well that was the religion I was brought up in so it absolutely fascinates me as I can draw so many parallels with growing up in that religion.0

So my fridge freezer has broke so we're going for a big double thing, which is expensive but I guess that means quite a bit cashback for my money neutral challenge.
I am having a car boot sale next week so hope I can beat the 75.00 total for the challenge then but I still have to get some stuff on ebay. Surveys are very slow right now- don't know if anyone's noticed.0 -
Thanks guys I will deffo ask about bingoport from now on and Fury sometimes I have such stupid questions I amaze myself at my daftness.
It looks like the heavens are going to open over manchester anytime soon and I think I hear the roll of thunder coming (I love a good thunder storm)
Im off to tidy my bedroom and clean my bunnys cage out see you all in a bit x0 -
I have spent the last hour and a bit up in DS's bedroom, it actually looks like a bedroom  I have even sneakily thrown away things which OH has had stashed in a drawer and will never remember them aswell as things which his Ex wife left here  he won't notice they are gone and it has given me a lovely cupboard which I have filled with DS's games
I have a big toybox which I need to sort through still and put in the new trofast system thingy
but DS needs to help sort through his toys as knowing me I would throw them away and he will be mad! :rotfl: he is looking forward to sorting through them though which is good
DD is being a monkey, she has pulled everything out of drawers and made a general mess whilst I was trying to sort out! Grrr ... she has taken to climbing ... she doesn't care how high, she has tried to climb the trellis in the garden  and is currently sitting in her big toybox with a bag of crisps after she climbed in there and refused to get back out ... yes yes I know she has won and it doesn't look good when she has me wrapped around her fingers but I haven't got the energy and she is quiet which is a real blessinglol
Tea break now, then I have to tackle the worktops in the kitchen, it looks like we have had 100+ people over for a party, OH isn't here so it may well be left til he gets home if I can't cope with the bending down to the dishwasher! I have work tomorrow night, I just hope BIL is willing to restock the fridge behind the bar as I can't bend or lift properlyRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
JS - you sound busy, busy, busy
Ring, did I hear you mention??? Tell us more!!! I've got one HMV voucher, pm me your address if you'd like it.
You bingo gals seem to be having a great time
My boys are finally better :T:T:T Excellent news as school starts again on Tuesday. DS2 is due to start playschool on Tuesday morning. I am pleased yet upset at the same time. I know he is of an age where he should be mixing with lots of other children, making friends of his own and being without me but I fear I will feel redundant. He is 2 and has always been with me. Once I get over the wobbles I think I will enjoy my 3 mornings a week to do what I need to/want to without interruptions. And I think he will love it. That's what I keep telling myself anyway
My mum started her radiotherapy finally. So three weeks of going every day, two days done.
I've been rubbish making money this week. Have things to ebay but have ebayed nothing
Have a good day everyone, if the rain eases off I am going to take the boys into town to get their hair cut (back to school haircuts).
For those of you that know melissa75 over on the card making thread, it's her birthday today
Oh yes well it was a bit of an odd one we were in Ashford Outlet and i saw this really nice engagement ring so we went over to have a look shopped round for a bit and then we were putting our bags in the car he said that he'll get it for me if that's the one i definately want, about to drive off to park nearer the jewellers when his clutch went, we had to ring AA etc, the bloke said it was drivable but to get it into a garage asap. Puff goes my ring :rotfl:Still maybe it wasn't meant to be that ring:D
Thanks for letting me know off to happy birthday her now:p
..xxI am only me, no pretences, no second guesses.. It's the best I can do, I'm sorry if that's not good enough for you... I'm sorry I'm not good enough for you :A0 -
hello everyone I am back from my hols!
I just want to say a big thank you to sylphraven for the info about the Doctor Who boxsets. I ordered series 3 and even though it was out of stock it arrived whilst we were away - luckily it was still there as the postman had left it behind the recycling box:eek: if you hadn't suggested ordering it anyway i wouldn't have bothered.saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
£60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j0 -
welcome home bunbun!!
Hope u had a fab trip xxx0 -
So glad you got it & nobody nicked it from behind the recycling box  bunbun, I'm keeping my eyes open for the 4th series on the cheap, preferably around £25 or under but no luck yet. Have you seen the Dr Who activity books in Asda for £1 each? Theres one with a model to make of the news space station, several sticker albums, 1 with cards in etc.
Sure a nicer ring ill turn up Jordan, that one obviously wasnt to be - spotted you in bingoport again, I'm not stalking you, honest, did you in anything? You've obvioulsy been very busy, care to share a few ideas & sites that you've got for hampers etc? & I loved the long post, gave me something to do while waiting for my mom, lol
My LO is just like yours Rusty, loves climbing, especially into boxes, tubs etc. This morning he tried to climb the banisters we have over looking the stairs, no fear there, was in me though! Hope you get a nice long soak in the bath tonight.
Biker, I put my phone on silent after LO goes to bed until we get up, anyone needing me n an emergency can call my mobile, sounds like you need to do something similar to get a lie in.
Yay, glad the lads are better again Rainmac, I'm dreading my LO going to nursery as well, & my eldest going to secondary school as well. They normally seem to settle in well though, sure yours will be no different & will have loads of fun.
Well, I woke up this morning with a very stiff jaw & couldnt open it very wide (very strange for me as I can normally open my mouth v.wide by dislocating it) so I decided a visit to the Drs was in order. Been told most of it will heal in time, it is mainly badly bruised & slightly swollen. Also with it feeling sore I'm likely to hold it stiff which does it no good. The only problem I'm likely to have in the future is I've stretched the "padding" that is between the joint & ball of the jaw. Its the bit that allows your mouth to open & shut smoothly without the bones rubbing together, if it stretches it will get in the way when the mouth is being closed, its this that you can feel pop when your mouth goes into place after dislocating it, so I have a few exercises to do when the bruising goes to restrengthen it.You cant take a step forward with both feet on the ground0 -
Thank you sylphraven for letting us know you are on the mend - even slowly.0
