Sugarspun - that's lovely about the balloon appearing, really does make you think she was looking in on you :)

Good luck getting things sorted with the vicar. We had a horrible vicar for my grandads funeral and it was awful, despite people telling him things about my grandad, he didn't mention anything about what he was like during the service, was very inpersonal and we all found it quite upsetting.

Just got back from the hospital with my dad, he had a fit a while ago, they don't seem to think it's anything though. Today seemed totally pointless, he was going to see the doctor but the doctor didn't have the results of the EEG he had last week and he isn't even having the CT scan til next week! They said if anything shows up on either they'll write to him otherwise he just has to go back in 6 months. Let's just hope it was a one off.

I've come home to find my OH has almost finished the painting in the living room that he started absolutely ages ago! He's still got a bit more to do but at least it's nearly done! :T

We were going to go to Pontefract tomorrow to see the gee gee's and stay over but we've decided we can't be bothered so we're just going to go to the Trafford Centre, haven't been the Trafford Centre in absolutely ages so it'll make a change. Dreading all the kids there though, school holidays probably not the best idea!!

I'm going to go to the Make a Bear Workshop and make my very own teddy :j :D
 Think happy & you'll be happy

Can we all come round for dinner Goochie? I love meatballs :D

Of course, how do you like them, with spaghetti?, baked in the oven with penne and melted cheese on top?, or just a big bowl of them with garlic bread??? Tomorrow is a braised beef pie - any takers? I will be the size of a house by the time I get a new job. :rotfl:

Goochie put my name down for tea, love spag bol and meatballs but that baked in the oven with penne and melted cheese sounded devine:D

Haley I was at teh trafford centre today with my dad picking up my mums bday pressie. I nearly passed out it was that hot and crowded, I was dressed all summery too:rolleyes:

Well this morning I took my two little bunnykins into my mums class at her school (she teaches reception) and they went down an absolute storm the kids loved them. We called them the magical easter bunny's. All the children had so many questions about them and loved getting to pet them. The nursery teacher has asked if I could bring them into her class tomorrow for the very little ones. I think the bunnys loved all the attention that they were getting aswell. They are currently chilling out in there tent in the dyning room

hellooooooo! Hope everyone had a great MSE weekend.

My dodgy mood lifted all by itself - am even more convinced now that it was hormones :p.

No budgie watch update as they still have no feathers they're just bigger but the biggest one does have the start of his feathers coming through - they will apparently all be either yellow or white as they have red eyes .

OH had a great time at the national even though he was squashed onto the train and nearly fell out as the doors opened but the guys he was meeting gave him a lift back to the A1 so I had to pick him up from there most famous person he saw was the owner of Kauto Star but then he wouldn't know a celeb if they had their name tattooed on their forehead :rotfl:.

I went to work and left him and DD with a list of jobs - the beds have been changed, the lawn has been mowed, the skip is just about full and they cleared the weeds from the patio and emptied the pots ready for new plants. He's also offered to do the ironing this week as well so am desperately washing everything in sight ;).

I offered to cook tea but he took over as he reckons i look too awkward as I'm left-handed :D. Am going to wash up and tidy up then stitch up the bag I made for myself over the weekend. Catch you later.

Yep love all of that cheers goochie  My DS1 hates spag bol/meatballs/lasagne... I despair of him as they are my faves. He started getting really fussy when he turned 4 so we've had a year of "yuck, I'm not eating that" to most of what I put in front of him  I do still cook what he declares he doesn't like but don't have them as much as I'd like to.

Had your OH been on a training course to behave like this, can I send mine over to yours to pick up some tips, he's rather lacking in the helping at home department ;)

he did live on his own for a while so I think his skills just go conveniently into hibernation at times :rotfl:.

I have learnt that I have to give him a list as his eyes don't work on their own and of course I left DD to keep an eye on him to stop him skiving :D.

he even apologised for not building my bubby laptop tonight but I wasn't going to mention it as he'd already done so much :p.
