Ouch hope you all get better soon Furry pig!

Is it wrong that I am still tap tapping away on my laptop at silly o clock in the morning ... I am still doing listings for ebay in word and OH is making them look pretty by doing some html coding thingy :D I love technical terms :D

So what time did you finally get to bed Mrs Rusty? Well done on listing lots on ebay. So glad your DS is home safe and sound, his attitude will disappear soon enough.

Does anyone here read? I joined, ok, got roped in to a book club about 8 months ago where we choose and read a book a month and then go round each other's houses and talk about it whilst eating copious amounts of nibbles and a fair bit of drink ;)! So far I've managed to read 2 and a half books and make 2 meetings. Crap I know but in my defence OH's work gets in the way of being able to do stuff in the evenings.

I've chosen the latest book to read and did this by scanning Amazon book reviews. I ordered the book and it arrived yesterday, it's huge, not sure I'll get it read in a month but started it last night and like it so far (about 30 pages read of 640 ). It's called Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton, anyone read it?

  • Rusty to the rescue for all you squinting people :rotfl:.

I read loads but usually trawl the charity shop and then pass them on to my mother as part of her mother's day / birthday or xmas pressies - that way she gets loads more. That book loads really good rainmac will keep an eye out but don't have room for any more books on the to be read shelf - if I keep telling myself that over and over again I might believe it :rotfl:.

Is the confessions of a shopaholic film based on the Sophie Kinsella book? quite enjoyed the book but think I'll give the film a miss not really my kind of thing - nobody gets shot :p.

I just need to wait for one more person to leave feedback then I can use buy it nows but until then I can't list them. OH did all of the pretty backgrounds etc for me last night and the HTML coding and we took proper pics of it all etc .... ;)

If you need to shout/rant/rave/cry while your DH is away you know where I am ;) I can keep you insane :D

I love your book Paddington, you do beautiful work xx I love how you have cut the paper to have the pattern flourish across the front.. Gorgeous!

Rusty you must be mad to stay up that late doing Ebay!! You should have at least been lounging on the sofa eating revels like I was LOL BTW it IS the Hootys off the radio LOL

My sister and mother in law work at the cinema, one is the supervisor the other is the projectionist and I don't get any money off food!! That is Showcase though which I LOVE for the seat that are GIANT and comfy and recline but they don't do cheesy nachos the way my UCI/ODEON does *sob*

Anyway.. Digressing!! I got some awesome things from Hootys yesterday. I am like some crazy magpie when I go out shopping always looking at everything thinking 'can I use that in my crafting?'. They had some really lovely acrylic stamp sets, a version of stickles, ink pads and pots of gems for just 99p. If anyone is interested in them I could pick you some up next time I go?

I bought some keepsake boxes for just 99p, will have to upload a pic later they are amazing value. I got in and my parcel for the next creativity life challenge was waiting for me :) I think this might be my last parcel now as I have sunk quite low in the votes this month and expect to be voted off soon but I have really enjoyed it whilst I have been in it... Well.. when the products have been nice lol

  • Morning all

Nice to see you are all still fairly upbeat, (((HUGS))) to anyone who's not. I seem to have got some horrible bug, temperature, upset stomach and my head feels twice it's normal size, so going back to bed.

No Virgin voucher here either, or my M&S Mopay vouchers for selling my phone, although I did get my cheque from Music Magpie the other day.
  • Thanks plm - my work has really come on since coming on here and investing in some decent tools :rotfl:.

Can't take credit for the paper though is one of the bits of the papermania raspberry champagne 6x6 pad that I just trimmed to fit :o.

I love papermania paper - not as gorgeous as some of the others but it's so cheap I don't mind using it rather than looking at it. Got some more stuff earlier this week including the sweet nothings paper - 6x6 pad for £1.49! and 12x12 for £2.49 - am still plucking up the courage to go bigger - watch this space :rotfl:..

Hope you don't get voted off I love your work.

Can anyone recommend a decent scoring board? Have a cheapy one and the 6 inch line is at 5 7/8 . Is the dovecraft wonderboard any good?
