Well done on the car boot sale but more importantly what did you buy at Olympia??? WE need to see all the bargains etc etc you got!! Did you see Dawn Bibby???
furrypig No I didn't see Dawn Bibby as I missed her at 12 and didn't want to hang around until 3.

I didn't finish work until midnight on Friday (another 15 hour day) and had to get the train at 9am, so actually left Oympia about half past two as I was shattered by then, and had spent quite enough money, thank you very much. Went home and had a sleep before karaoke on Saturday night.

I don't do any scrapbooking and very little card making so didn't get any of the things you girls love. Although I did find myself looking at a squeezy
    thing!

Bought a cross stitch kit of three pairs of legs in high heels, which makes me sound a bit of a freak, but its gorgeous, and will match my bedroom perfectly.

Also bought some yarn to make two wraps, one for my mum for Christmas and one for me. And some sock yarn, as DS keeps nagging me to knit him some socks.

Its worth taking a look at the M&S sale, I got this for christmas for my eldest, cost me £22 & even at that price I thought it was worth every penny, so for the sale price at £9 its an absolute bargain! Really good quality, really warm, & I'm expecting it to go through both my children with very little wear & tear.

Well done Hayley, best way to go about things is one step at a time. & crying, is scientifically proven to help, it releases a chemical that helps us think clearer - more so in women than men.

Shelley, that creme egg is fab, mmmmmmmmmmm, creme egg!

Ooooo, Carrot cake cupcakes, sounds a great idea! Unfortunately I havent got a recipe, though I have heard delias is delicious, low fat as well.
I think we should all bake a cupcake or something on sunday so we can eat it at your vitual party :)

I love the idea of an advent pressie swap Plums, anychance of a little discussion about it on say tomorrow to outline some guidlines, such as a a maximum spend or something, so that some of us can pick a few bits & bobs through out the year.

Don't blame him Shelley! I want one!! I love star wars!! :D

Hayley - we are proud of you too! (Jack and Sawyer are too, they told me :D) I work well with routines. In fact I'm not going to do anything online until 12. I am so addicted to e-mail checking, facebook checking and MSE checking - not good!

Tell Jack and Sawyer if they really want to show how proud they are, they come round to see me ;)

I'm like that too! I check my emails, facebook and twitter about 10 times a day. And I dread to think how much time I spend on here!! :rotfl: I was supposed to be going to make a brew ages ago and i'm still sat here  :rotfl:

My OH was saying to me the other day how I go through phases of what i'm addicted to, I have an addictive personality big time (like web design or reading or anything really) but he said MSE is the only thing I have never got bored of! :rotfl: That's because it's the best website ever! :D
 Think happy & you'll be happy

Hayley11 - Well done on a good start - I think you did the right thing to shower & then come on here - I could spend my life on here - unwashed and in my dressing gown but feel sooo much better if I shower first and use my MSE addiction as a reward for getting up & moving. Before the PC I was the same with mail - constantly checking the letterbox - even did it at work (mind you I was washed & dressed there!!!)

I do the same with other household tasks say, ironing then the PC, clean the bathroom then PC etc....

What's your challenge for tomorrow then?

    Afternoon everyone

Hope everyone is ok today and those who were poorly are feeling better.

I wanted to ask those of you that do surveys - which sites do you use ?
I've signed up to a couple but just wondered how many you all use ?

Thank you :D I'm not sure yet, have to do the same as today then add something else on, it'll probably just be get dressed or have some breakfast, I don't eat much really when i'm down, just a few biscuits all day so need to get into the habit of eating properly. It reminds me of the game we used to play as kids, you know the supermarket game, you have to remember everything and something gets added on each time.

I should do that too, the internet should be a reward for doing something, not the reason I don't do anything :rotfl:

Oh i'm knackered, been to the hospital with my dad, was sat there for 45 minutes waiting, was so boring! Then we walked around town for an hour and then he got me in a mood because I wanted to get something for tea from M & S and he wouldn't stop going on and on about how expensive it is  It's not that bad! So I got in a strop and walked out! I'm still like a kid when i'm around my parents :rotfl:

So i'm back home with nothing for tea and a painful back! There's plenty of meat in the freezer but I like to make it in the slow cooker really because it's always soooo yummy and tender done in the slow cooker. So I don't know what we'll be having for tea. Maybe a fry up, nice and healthy! :D

I popped into the library where I used to work while I was at the hospital and saw my friend, I really miss her, we get on so well but don't live that close to each other really so we only used to see each other at work. Think i'll text her though and try to arrange something.

Whilst i've been typing this i've decided we're having bacon, egg, chips and beans for tea. :D Bet you're all so glad I shared that piece of very boring information! :rotfl:
 Think happy & you'll be happy

Hi bunbun I forgot to count the wrappers LOL but I could estimate at around 20 but I also cut up the boxes and used the logo from them too!!!! My poor Nan has never eaten so much chocolate.

Spent some time with my doggie today and I have to say i know deep down we are doing the right thing. Her body in now covered in lumps and she has lost even more weight. Took the boys and OH to see her to say goodbye and I found that very difficult!!!! I have to ring the vets in the morning and they will let us know what time tomorrow they will be coming to put her to sleep. I have cried the rain again this afternoon so god help tomorrow and I really wish I wasn't working tomorrow night :(. I just hope I will get some sleep tonight x
