oh my goodness is that your house mel - I love it.
I love the secretary of the dad on elf - she's so happy.
Hugs rusty - what is it with men. I have constant running arguments about money and work with my husband. He never does anything to help with the housework and is always whinging about how messy I am then I say help then- and he comes back with - "I go to work", the thing is this last year I've brought more money into the house than him with money I was left by mam (most put towards reducing our mortgage) Also if I had to go to work we would have to pay full time child care as I don't have anyone who can take her, so whatever wage I could make would go back on childcare. But he doesn't think of things like that. Also we wouldn't have this house without the equity I made from my flat that I bought on my own, and worked hard for. But oh no I do nothing cos "I don't work". Like being a housewife and a mother is doing nothing!!!
There was an article in the Sun earlier this week saying that the stay at home housewife / mother if we were paid that it would cost 32k per year, so any men put that in ur pipe and smoke it!! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

That was it the picnics, thats what I couldnt think of, hate dark chocolate as well............... xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Well thank goodness it's Friday ie no work but oh dear it's Friday as the inlaws are coming to stay!! They may already be at my house!!! I try very hard but I think I am not really good enough for them and over the years I now don't actually care as much as I used to!! I used to spend ages getting all the food stuffs they have at home and tidying up and planning meals etc etc but now I get our food as I usually would and get hubby to do at least some of the cooking so it's not too bad! They can sometimes be quite critical ie after watching one of my fav programmes 'who would want to watch this as it is such rubbish'. I do dread them coming to my home in some ways as i know there will be difficulties! But I think it is imprtant for my hubby to have them and also for the children to see their grandparents.
We went on holiday once with them many years ago and put it this way it has never happened again!! Though we have been on hols once a year for the past 10 years with my parents!! They have said some really evil things before and I can't actually bring myself to repeat some things that made me cry but were about my wonderful sil.
i am hiding at work and dreading going home!! I'm gonna finish here, nip to Tesco and go get the kids and delay the inevitable for as long as possible!! i am not really a horrible person honest but the years have taken their toll!! So if I come here over the weekend and I'm ranting and raving really loudly then this is the reason!
Families who'd have them eh????0 -
Actually I would never give up my parents, sister or hubby, DD and DS!!0

My OH quoted this to me the other morning, I'm sure you can add a few more thousands on for those with very young children due to the night shift.
Put them on Messenger with us Furry, they'll be thanking the heavens they have you for a dil & not the raving loonies you talk to.
So it was YOU Jordan who put woolies out of business:eek:You cant take a step forward with both feet on the ground0 -
