Morning everyone, don't know if anyone is around but I am off the The Range this morning for the first time (am quite excited!!) what I really need is a paper trimmer/cutter as I am rubbish at cutting, especially straight  can anyone recommend anything? They have a few trimmers fairly cheap, but don't know if they are worth it? or would a proper guilotine (sp?) thing be better?
I have asked on the card making thread as well!! Thanks for any help and Shelley your ds looks so pleased with his bike? how lovely of your Mum...Jun GC £250.00/£12.40 NSD 3 / 30

Orchid-96, I bought a staples A4 precision paper trimmer bout 3 years ago, wasn't expensive and I use it all the time, was a good buy!
Obviously you could get a bigger version but it depends on you're needs?"There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇🥇🥇0 -
Orchid - I bought an x-cut guillotine a few weeks ago as recommended by our very own plm.
It's fantastic - and wish I'd bought it ages ago - I can't get on with the rotary ones as I alway manage to let the paper slip.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Morning all!
For once OH's to do list is longer then mine today:j.
I had a great day at the wedding yesterday - fortunately I went a bit early as I ended up dressing the bride and her mum . Was really just returning the favour that they did for me last year.
Nearly set fire to my handbag though as there must have been something wrong with the batteries in my camera as they got so hot I couldn't touch them - took them out and swapped them so was ok - may write to Tesco and complain though.
Was a bit worried at the disco the DJ looked like a train spotter (no offense intended) and seemed to be stuck in the 1970's - he was playing Mud and Kenny
. I know they had asked for cheesy but really!!!!!
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

thanks for all your nice comments about me jar.
paddingtondoo I bought the x-cut guillotine last week too - the guillotine I had cut in curves instead of straight lines. I love my new one it's fab.
Hubby and I are going to the cinema this evening with yet more free tickets so mil is babysitting - so I have been cleaning ferociously while they are at gymnastics. Almost done really but hubby has decided they will go to piccies after gymnastics and see bolt again (with, yes you guessed it - more free tickets) so yippee scrapping time...hee hee. Have to take the dog out later for a good walking, then give her a bath...then clean bath, have my bath...have a good day everyone.0 -
Morning all
Thanks Mum2one for posting the Quidco list - I'm going to have a good look at it all laterWish you lived next door to me too your cakes sound lovely and what a lovely thing to do
Your holiday sounds lovely Rainmac. What a bargain too :T
Rusty - little Harri hasn't got off his bike this morning bless him.
Orchid-96 I would be excited going to the range too. I haven't been for ages and I like a good nosey around. Have a lovely time.
We are taking the boys swimming this morning so really looking forward to it although i will be sitting on the sidelines as i am not confident enough to wear a swimsuit yet - ridiculous really:( . Our local pool has just had a 5 million facelift and its fantastic - it even has a separate pool for families and little ones so hubby can take the two in himself.
I have to make a nappy cake later too - so much to do and so little time. Back to work tomorrow so i must get organised .Little Miss Chatterbox

:hello: Hi all
Having a days rest has surprisingly given me heaps of energy, just hope it lasts!
I'm going to spend today working out how to make dividers for my folder. I'm thinking the recipes should be laminated so they're wipe clean, but this means normal dividers will be too small. LIGHTBULB MOMENT!!!! I can press some shapes out & stick them onto the edge of card so they stick out more than the mormal ones, moving each one down per page so they work as proper dividers
Also shall be typing out recipes. May write some of the smaller ones out. I've stopped doing the cover for it at the moment as the wording doesnt look right when printed out, or handwritten so shall wait till next friday & see if I can see some at the NEC.
WOW, you've been busy Mum2one, whats australian crunch? Think my LO's a tad confused about cooking, he's just tried to roll out a banana muffin - I'm sure my cooking isnt that bad, hope it isnt anyway, lol. Thanks for the click listI've copied it into a file & shall go get clicking in a bit.
I like the range Orchid, its about the only place within walking distance to me that sells a good range of crafting products.
Shelley, Harri looks like he's having great fun, no wonder he doesnt want to get off.You cant take a step forward with both feet on the ground0 -
Morning all
Rainmac, wow go you! Have a lovely time in June
Orchid - Have a lovely time and hope you don't spend too much!
Padingtondoo - sounds like you had a good time, apart from fiery handbags!
Shelley - Awww bless him, he will be driving you mad with it til the novelty has worn off
Well I am tempted to drive to Hexham today as they have what I believe is a fairly bit car boot sale up there, I want tp scope it out and see how good it is before I actually bite the bullet, I am just trying to get OH organised to come with me as he says he doesn't want to
Hope everyone has a good dayRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
if you're buying stuff rusty - the hexham one is pants - the stalls they have outside are normally the best - the regular stalls are full of tat - never did it myself I do chester -le -street or seaham. It's ok I guess but we find it's really dirty stuff - loads of videos, etc;
Hexham is huge mind and lots of people turn out so it could be good if you're doing the selling0
