Oh, and Pigpen, I really think that cleaning the front door and windows inside and out is a level three task.... at least it is in my house - the stained glass is so fiddly!

Well I've done a couple of the jobs from todays list - if it's here and it needed filing, it's been filed, and the plants (including the geranium on the balcony!) have all been watered and given a few words of loving encouragement. DW emptied and the dirty bits loaded in, dinner in oven cooking (made cottage pies - yum!). That might well be about it for me today I think. I might do my food shopping list ready for the weekend though a bit later on, and also run through our holiday planning notes with MrEH to see what needs doing from that and brainstorm for any more ideas / thoughts. :D

Leaded windows are gorgeous, and look fantastic, but my goodness me they can be draughty and are a devil to clean! We used to live in a mock tudor building with both front windows done in proper leaded glass - the massive bay window in the front room was a nightmare as it took so much cleaning and you have to be SO careful don't you! I loved them to look at, but certainly wouldn;t nwant them back! (Neither would I want to live in a timber framed building again bearing in mind the shocking problems we had with damp!)

kaz, have spoke to her she said she wrote on the bed so we didn't give it to some one else???? Don't know where she heard the things she is saying unless it's school don'think I have ever said my life is over or that my heart will break!!! Could be telly actually so if there is any more of this talk I will ban the telly.
Have been looking at another thread....Old style parenting and have decided she has got far too much and will be rectifying(sp?) this over the next few days........half toys in the attic and rotate.....always say I'm gonna do it but never do, now I have "said it out loud" I promise to do it. And also get her to do a few chores around the house.
Told her earlier that no cinema was her punishment and she asked "whats punishment?".............
So basically I have made a rod for my own back and it is up to me to sort it

essay over, thank you for listening ;-]
