TRying desperately to work out if i can still live here.

Hugs for you and NO they don't...and my pittance is paid through CSA (via his spleen apparently the fuss he makes)
Ring council as soon as to get reduction in Council Tax - even if you have already paid for the full year there is still a month of the old one so there'll be a tiny refund....
Tax credits have NEVER enquired into savings because it's meant to be an income boost and is not means tested. They were intended to replace old system where married men received a higher tax allowance.

Well I had to phone the bank to go through security checks and get the bar lifted off my card so I could spend MY money!! Who are they to decide who and when I can spend my money?! Cheeky tweets!!
I am feeling darn rough this morning but have managed to pay my Ace catalogue and my littlewoods catalogue (bit more to come on that in September though) and I have to go collect a wad of cash from the bank later... To pay DD1's trip to Lourdes with school (must sort her a passport) and the French doors I thought hubby had paid for months ago and hadn't... gggrrrrr.. and the trip to build-a-bear on Friday... that should be a hoot.. me, hubby, my mother, all 8 offspring, 1 gf and a baby in tow... it is only a teeny tiny shop!
So far today I have decluttered the cash from my bank account!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

What are you doing mudbath. I may have missed a few posts but don't remember seeing a note from you saying that you had finished yet. I am sure that I must have missed it as it is 10 o'clock!!!!
Hope someone can answer a quick question. Looking at how much I would get for tax credit and it asks if I have a partner? No it says a partner is if you are married. Well we are but..... I take it that I should put no. Would that be right?
Your right you have'nt got a partner... If you ring them up they will talk you through it all, update it there and then and I found were extremely sympathetic. Although it feels like it, your not the only one who goes through this sadly. Good luck, pm me if you want. I'm around most of the time. The problem with common sense is its not very common:rotfl:
