mOZzy - with the hours I work I have to get things done when I have the opportunity! It's nice to be ahead, as I'm usually playing catch-up at the weekend.

juliff - we can do the lists this quickly because we've been working with them for a while, so things aren't as bad as when you start out (plus sexymouse and I don't have children, and Mudbath has nothing to do but boss her OH around :p )

One load of washing done, half hanging up, half in TD :o as I won't be home till gone 9 tonight. Another load in (red stuff that might run... napkins, towels, tea-towels that never get really clean  ).

MUST GET SHOWERED AND DRESSED! I'll be late for work

Froddy re the meet - I can do any of those places if I have a bit of notice to get train tickets etc. Saturdays are probably best for me, cos if I have by any chance got a job by then, I usually use Sundays for planning etc for school, but I'm happy to go with whatever everyone else wants to do.

Best scurry off to the gym now before all of the tokens go, or I'll be doing my normal boring workout.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

The work will wait for you to finish showing the LOs the rainbow, but the rainbow would not wait for you to finish the work.

It's only because they've been doing it for a while so it doesn't take long to keep on top of things.

I've been doing it for ages but I'm still rubbish at it!

Julliff When I first joined it would take me all day to do a complete list, after 2 yrs I can do one in 15 mins tops usually, depending on if I've been tidy that week, HHC certainly is plenty of time to do it now. It doesn't take 2 yrs BTW it was about 2 months....maybe less. I guess it's just nice to get it done asap so it's out the way.

Best get me shoes on and go for OH, I know this sounds awful but I'm hoping he wants to go straight home and not back to mine so I can get one list done, I wont if he's here distracting me and it'll be 2 hrs wasted.

    Laters :hello: x

  • juiliff - i have dipped in and out of this over a year. My house is dreadful. I have spent 20mins picking up sticks from my dining room floor!! and paper across the living room and dining room (am doing both as kind of role into one) In that time i stopped DD1 from getting a bowl, and lemon, lime from kitchen to play 'picnics', she now has on her roller blades and is skating around the house! That is why my house is messy - and i don't make them tidy up which is starting to change!!! i don't mind mess as long as i'm not the only one who tidies it -

right, off to attack 'princess' things under table!!
