  • You're right Greenbee - and I will look into getting a smoke alarm. Had a service done on my combi 2 weeks ago and the guy was really alarmed - we had a gas leak we didn't know about - no carbon monox detector either !!

Good news was that the old cooker was at fault so now a brand new one that is easy peasey to keep clean !!

Thanks for the concern .... this is a really brilliant thread

OH and I had a "chat" about him leaving his dirty and clean clothes on the floor instead of putting them in the correct places, and eventually it ended up in me telling him that he doesn't appreciate everything I do and me bursting into tears. He then said I'm too sensitive and cry if he just says hello to him some mornings (untrue), which made things worse! I told him that I may be feeling sensitive because I've had a rubbish day (he knows all the things that have upset me) and because AF was here so he should be more understanding. I told him that the house may not be perfect (there are still lots of big jobs that need doing that we just can't afford), but at least I try to keep it clean, and he's stopping me from doing that properly. Anyway, I think he's got the message, so fingers crossed we don't have to have any more chats.

I think that not being able to find a job to finish my NQT year in is getting to me more than I thought.

Sorry for ranting - it is a little bit about flying and OH stopping me doing it properly, so I hope you'll forgive me. My toxic friend added to all my worries this afternoon too.

Going to play a few games and do some "research" on MSE to calm down before bedtime.

    Thanks for listening to me,

    sexymouse xx

Hopefully OH will behave from now on.

One of the things I love about this thread is that it makes me appreciate my single status so much more :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

D*mn... I've been faffing about and haven't done mine (although my yoga stuff and lunch are ready for work, I think I know what I'm going to wear and the washing up is done and both the kitchen AND utility room sinks are clean!). Must go and deal with the last three things on tomorrow's list... :D
