So I don't feel I've done that well, but I figure that it will take a couple of runs through the flylady routine to get to a stage where nothing ever gets too bad......what do you think?
Anyway - onwards and upwards for tomorrow :beer:0 -
Pigpen I PMed you this morning. If anything is still needed/not needed let me know. The work will wait for you to finish showing the LOs the rainbow, but the rainbow would not wait for you to finish the work.0

I do like a spot of fishing at the weekend, especially when the little fishies are QUITE so keen to bite!
h dear, I'll go to a bad place!
I did notice you there... and the flames didn't take much fanning did theyI have to say I was tempted to join in, but by the time I got there one of the participants had deleted all their posts (which made it quite confusing). Valli likes to bring the news to us as we lead sheltered lives here  so feel free to let us know about anything interesting going on (that's relevant obviously, bathing and flying are closely linke
)
AMG2B - well done on your first week. Don't expect to achieve the same at this stage as some of the rest of us who've been doing this for ages (or Mudbath, who has nothing better to do than get her OH to do the flying). Once you've got rid of the clutter, and the layers of dirt, it gets easy to keep to a level 3. The first time I cleaned my windows (I have metal frames that get mildewed) it took about an hour. Now I can do the small ones in 5 minutes and the big ones in 10. My oven and hob take about 2 minutes each to wipe over. It'll improve with time, I promise!

Since Pigpen's DS tried to burn her house down (and the insurance company almost paid of her debts as a result!), she's been pretty hot on this. We had to nag her about putting new batteries in a couple of months before, and I think she's secretly quite pleased that we didn't let her get away with ignoring us
Please do get yourself some alarms - as she says, you don't have to buy/fit them yourself, you can contact your local fire safety people who will do this for you.0 -

Please talk to someone nice before you go to bed, so that you don't go to sleep with toxic as your last human contact! What are you doing talking to her anyway
Thanks for the emails.... they're keeping me entertainedI've set up a rule so that they're automatically filed and I can read them at my leisure. I have 4 personal email accounts and SEVEN work mailboxes  so email is very carefully managed!

As predicted, I have done no flying. But I have cooked dinner (pasta twirls with a bacon/spring onion/pea/garlic and 'erbs tomato sauce -HM of course for the curious)
And I've washed up/ stacked the DW afterwards too.
Remember some of us were talking about spooky psychic things? Well I've had one of those this evening. My dentist's surgery is next to a site which was redeveloped about 4 years ago. I was in touch with the developer (when it was about to be built those 4 or so years ago) regarding some historical aspects of the site. He did a fantastic job - kept the facade of the building so that the new stuff was tucked behind and not visible. We've been in touch a few times since then about various things but not often -once every six months or so.
When I parked up at the dentist tonight (have to park on the road) I saw the hidden part of the development and how it sat in the surroundings and thought yes - the developer really has done a good job. I ought to congratulate him again at some point.
Guess who phoned this evening, out of the blue?
Yes that developer!
Hey ho - coincidences - love 'em or hate 'em - they really do happen rather often!
But I'm off to bed after brushing my teeth and having a warm salty water rinse. My gums and teeth are still grumbling that I let the dentist look at them
I will fly tomorrow - I promise!
