WTG Rosepink.... You did so well. :j I heard about a technique that might be of some use to you..... well, you can be the judge... but it's to think about how scared you are about doing something before you do it. Give it a grade on a scale of 1 - 10. Then, when you've done the thing, you think about how scared you needed to be, and again, give it a rating 1 - 10.
Hopefully this will enable you to build a body of 'evidence' for yourself, so you can 'prove' to yourself that each time you do something you were scared of doing, you were fine.
Just a thought, hope it helps?
With regard to the bloke on facebook... what an idiot... and what scumbag behaviour.

been missing in action because DS got on here while I was cleaning (honest guv) and has been on Runescape. GF here now so PC is mine all mine muhahahahaha
Bedroom level 3'd **glow** full dust, vacuum and polished, landing and stairs done too
So that's a full LIST COMPLETEDToots
I have done some knitting and been working through the hotspot in a bag too.
I have consulted DS GF's mum and DS GFs dad will be fitting me a loft ladder...
This will mean I can get up there and sort it properly. I did declutter it (with the help of the kids) shortly after I decluttered exOH but it does need some tidying. It's half boarded - with a ladder I can up the insulation and board it properly.

I bought 2 packs of cork floor tiles from B&Q and some cork tile adhesive and stuck them on the kids walls in a 3 x 3 grid - job done...
Now off to catch up with the thread...

Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Toots - no word yet. I'm hoping LL is ok - I remember how tired I was when I first came out. I'll text her in a bit to see if there's any news xx0

I really need to do some more study and a bit of s/s.
Anyone waiting for the results of tickets being put into quidco for money not traced - don't give up hope! I put in a ticket in June 2006 and today I got an email to say it had been resolved and the £25 is waiting to be paid into my account! I'm impressed!! xx0 -
I'd agree with everyone...this is a very friendly thread. Apart from that Greenbee and Toots who keep giving me extra jobs just because....because....I can be slightly annoying!!!:rotfl:
Those with annoying hubbies (is that most of us:rotfl: ) - I started putting all the stuff that DH left lying around in a box in the back garden by the bins. He's ask where something was and I'd say 'Oh, I thought you'd left it out for the bins as you'd not put it away'. He got so fed up of going out the back to get the stuff he needed that he started putting things away. Whilst I was putting his stuff away normally it was helping him and he never learnt. Guess i'm just a cow though :rotfl: :rotfl: .
Brilliant, wouldn't stop my hubby tho, he'd keep doing it deliberatly just because I was annoying him... cut off his own nose him...
And I think Greenbee and Toots only give you extra because you asked them too if I remember right...:rotfl: :rotfl:
Rosepink, a very big well done... It was hard but you did it and now you don't have to worry any more... :T :j :T :j Hope you've been able to sit down for a bit and relax and are now back in control... brilliant...SarahShattered wrote: »With regard to the bloke on facebook... what an idiot... and what scumbag behaviour. :mad:what have I missed (me being nosy and needing to know EVERYTHING!...;)
Thanks Valli, I remember this from a few days ago now - how on earth was that allowed to happen? so sad...
I have just had major problems with my outlook - couldn't get to my diary, emails or anything else... was having a heart attack as ALL my info in there (mmmm, maybe a backup would be good) so was in a real fluster... hopefully all sorted now...
On the flying front...- Floor degibbled,
- Bedding now partly dry and ready to iron and put back on (need to get more than one set, it's ridiculous)
- Done a fling boogie, not sure if 37 bits but quite a few AND emptied my bag and threw tons out of there, so probably over...
- Fire alarms checked - can anyone tell me how I test electric alarms - I press the button, but does that work straight from the electric, or is that for the battery only? they are council ones and work direct from mains electric with backup battery... I'm confused...
- been round with the feather duster into all the corners of the rooms, above door frames, wardrobes, curtain poles, etc - nice and clear now - I love my duster...
- Airing cupboard sparkly - all tidy, towels on left, sheets on right, odds on top shelf, dogs towels on madeup shelf on top of HW tank...
Will sort around it for now as it is all nice and tidy in boxes...
