Bedroom completely defugged - it was eeuugghhhh and took nearly whole hour to finish :A
Just made chilli for tea (very hot) and am off to have some well-earned lunch.
Will it be the ironing or the hallways after lunch - who knows??!!!!0 -
Thanks for all your kind messages of support. I got back about half an hour ago. Feeling really shaky and worn out now. I didn't go as early as planned as overslept - didn't go to bed til 1:30! But I didn't have any nightmares so that's a result. I have awful dreams during times of stress.
Found a parking space straight away :j went to bank to pay in ginormous cheque that DH earned last week :T and went to Mr S.He didn't have everything I wanted but that's ok. The lady on the checkout was nice. I explained that I had to pay her in coins, as I was using some money I'd been saving (raided my "loose change pays my debt" fund as we have a cash flow prob) and she said why not use your nectar points? She said I could use them in chunks worth £2.50 so all I had to pay in the end was £1.30 for £13.30 worth of food, and I still hav zillions more to spend! Great! :j Felt shaky and scared and like I might faint the whole time i was out, but I did it.
Am kind of in a helpless heap now tho!Need to recover, so am going to catch up on ER online. Will be sleepin most of afternoon too.
Flying bit: put leftover chilli con carne in freezer
Will try to clean bath, as DH put the creamy freezer bag into soak, but it is seriously gross so I might leave it for him to do as it make me want to puke.
Soappie, I will try to post your stuff this week, hopefully tomorrow if am up to it.
Sarah, sounds like the wife of that man is better off without him. If he is prepared to drive all that way to meet a woman he’s only be talking to for a month, then doesn’t sound like he’s the faithful type. Poor wife, must have been a shock for her. At least she knows his true colours now.
Well done for sleepover thing. You did the right thing.
[quoteMozzy SarahSH exactly my point- i hate it when he shouts at them (well, for no apparent reason anyways) - i happen to shout at them now and then .. when things get out of control - and i keep telling him to stop the shouting!!!! his reasoning 'they don't listen to him otherwise ...'
quote]
Oh Mozzy, I’m sorry things are so difficult at your house right now. Hope you feel better soon. Now you know what Supernanny would say about the “they don’t listen to me unless I shout situation.” She would say: “Get down to their level, make eye contact, lower the tone of voice and speak authoritatively and say: “It is unacceptable to shout at children all the time.” This also works when you are trying to get children to listen to you! Big hug to you and yours. I like the biscuit trick Triker! I agree, he does sound stressed.Does he find it hard to look after them when you are ill?
hope you get the job sexy but if not then I'm sure something will turn up for you.
[quoteMozzy leiea are you married to my husband?!?! :rotfl: that's exactly a thing he would do quote] That’s just what I was thinking about mine! He does exactly that! Now I just put the stuff in a place that doesn't bother me. :rotfl:
Am going to watch TV and hopefully do some surveys online to get more points!
Love to all the poorlies, hope Oddjob is ok"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."
