Guess who's going to have to use the TD tonight

The pesky dog whipped an empty (and rinsed -but clearly not rinsed enough!) dog food tin from the recycling basket in the kitchen. I didn't realise for a while. When I did, I got it off her. But, she must have caught her mouth on the sharp edges because a few minutes I realised my duvet was covered in quite a bit of blood - so was she! I've checked her over but there seems to be no more new blood and there is what looks like a little cut on the inside of her 'lip'.

I've washed her down and stripped off the duvet cover only to find it's soaked through to the duvet too. They (the duvet and the cover - not the dog I hasten to add!) are now both soaking in cold water in the bath. But, they need to be dry by bedtime. Just as well DiL is working tonight - I can sneakily use it myself! But, that's what it's there for EMERGENCIES

    YAY :D:D

For all the OH's helping with the Flying Keep it up Lad's.

Mine has also been a good boy today.. he's cleaned off his computer desk and de-cluttered all the draw's in it... :T :T so im cooking him his favorite tea as reward.

My kids are as we speak cleaning thier room, is it cheating to get the kids to do thier own room??? :o though at the rate they are going they may well not finish till next friday.:rotfl: :rotfl:

We did have some tear's earlier when i suggested perhaps it was time for them to part with some of thier toy's, they liked the idea of giving some to little boy's who didn't have any toys but apparently the LOoooooooove all thier toy's and can't pick which ones to give away.

Anyhooo for now im letting them get on with the tiding but have warned them that its time for thier toys to live in thier room and not invade the whole house so if they can't fit them all in they are going to HAVE to get rid of some.

Hmmmm me, well i've been kinda lazy today... i washed the kids bedding when i did mine on monday, and i can't do much in the kids room till they are done.

So i've settled for some S+S around the rest of the house, stoping hotspots growing that sort of thing, why is it no-sooner do you finish a room someone go's and messes it up again??? im starting to think im gong to have to ban people living in this house. :rotfl:

Have just written a new list for OH for next week with a new reward, as I remembered a couple of things that weren't on this week's list:
    OH's List (Wk 2)
    1. Find the parts for the food processor so that it can be freecycled.
    2. Bissell the dining room carpet (living room too if you're feeling energetic).
    3. Throw out 27 pieces of paper.
    4. Clear out stuff in your car that shouldn't be in there.
Reward for completed list: I will clean out the inside of your car (hoover, dust and do the windows).

Had a quick read through the thread -

Dusty - welcome back! Glad you had a good time and hope the bag turns up soon

rosepink - Not sure I know them all! My Grandmother was born with a different surname to the one we knew; that one was registered as her middle name. Still trying to find out more ....... Also, my dad had a brother he thought was adopted - turns out he was my Grandmother's son ............ And then there's the different stories about my Grandfather's death - but it was in the war so who knows?!
casleigh - well done on tackling the bathroom :T

nicki - if you get in done on your back then you can't see the needles :D I soooooo want another NOW!!

L-L - you sound like it's going well. Make sure you fly by watching lots of films :D

sexymouse - the 'resigning' dates for teachers are 28th Feb, 31st May and 31st October to leave at the end of that term. Hope something good comes from these vacancies - fingers crossed!

I'm going to get the vacuum out in a bit so
    HHC 4:15 - 4:45 anyone?

    Afternoon

We now have food for the next few days.

Just having a quick cuppa and then I think I'll do the bathroom. Not going to try to play catch up but want to be straight over the weekend for a full week of flying next week.

Bag is still in Prague - it didn't go on this morning's flight so they hope it will go on tomorrow mornings.

My hubbie always works best to a list - on paper - he likes striking off with a pen!
