and not sarcastic at all, eh?!? :D :T
He even argued with the tomtom and tried to drive past the turning... :rotfl:

Is really peed off now as failed because he didn't know all the roadsigns (2 short) passed hazzard awareness with most points they've ever had, but doesn't help if you haven't read the highway code in years does it (as you can see, LOADS of sympathy from me, NOT - its going to cost us another £30 now for him to take again because he can't be asked to revise... ) was a bit gutted for him, but then thought better of it... :rotfl:
Big learning curve for DS who thought you could pass everything just coz you've been doing it for years... me thinks he might even do some revision for his exams now...;) I also think I should have a quick look through highway code as I haven't looked at it since I was 18 and passed my test... loads on there that I don't know... just goes to show you eh!

Hugs Rosepink, I am sure your words will be a great comfort to her son and daughter, they were lovely. She sounds like a much loved lady and that is how we would all like to be remembered I am sure... :A

That just sounded like hard work, hope the amount was worth the phone call for you... ;)
Ahh well, got 4 girls here today. Very loud!!! They're doing 'make-up' hmmmm! should be interesting! :rotfl:
That sounds like you will need LOTS of water... hugs hun, no chance of a cuppa then?
Looks like you'll have to stick to alcohol :rotfl: (don't suppose you've got a hot water tank to use either?)

MOJ2 - Glad you have sorted finances and can stay put... brilliant news :j :j :j
Just a thought, what about a lodger? I know when the port finally kicks off they will all be looking like mad (hubby works in that industry and whenever they are at the Haven, the guys always have trouble finding local digs) - £80-100 pw usually for board and bills only, but they are never there - and when they are they stay in their rooms watching TV or sleeping...
Just a thought for a later date... ;)

Nicki - why don't you save it to a word doc and keep it on your desktop? I keep loosing mine if I leave it on the thread... ;)

D/W and W/M on, DS's bedding now washed and dried and I really need to do some ironing... :(
Must do some proper work first though... see you later...

I am currently taking daily gas and electric readings......

Still bunged up but am achieving a little bit. I have put the last kickplate out in the kitchen with the saw next to it and every so often I go and do another bit - it should be finished by tea time...

    I've been skiving :o

Yesterday I worked literally all day but today I am officially skiving. I haven't even looked at what I'm supposed to be doing. I have booked myself a cheap night away in a hotel though.

Better go and find out what's on the list before H gets home, lol!!

EDIT: Nooo! Not the kid's rooms. Can I just pretend it's yesterday?

I've decided against my HHR and i'm going to do a HHI instead. I must be mad but i want all 5 stars this week.
  • greenbee - not yet - its on the list!!! nobody has picked it yet and I am waiting as martin suggests until more lower their prices.

right the rain is not going off so I will just have to go to town now anyway - need a prescription collected too.

have decluttered today's batch of emails in one sitting - it was so much faster today i got through them in no time! It is on my dailies list until I get on top of them.

only managed a 26 fling boogie but I suppose thats ok as it means there is not so much carp lying about!

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
