    MY WATER'S BACK ON!!!!!!!!!!! :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j

Thanks everyone for my hugs and thoughts today, Boddy, Frodders, Toots, Valli, Hex, Piggers Lil_me and Flower

No Valli and Flower, you didn't miss anything.... it was part of my life changing decisions. I realised it's a slow train going nowhere. It could be like this forever, and that makes me really really sad. I want more out of life, and this isn't it. So, hugs.....yes, (always love a hug me! ) but I'm ok really, it's not dreadful. I think MOJT is having a worse time of it just now. I'd just be happier if he'd just go, and not want a rosy package handed on a silver platter. Anyway.... the main thing is we're all ok. We haven't told the children yet. He's just very sullen, and grumpy, which is getting on everyone's nerves.

    Anyhoo........

SO my water got put back on at about 4pm :T :T :T :T :T :T :T So I ran round like a lunatic. Cleaned the kitchen, made the dinner, cleaned the conditioner out of my hair, (aaahhhh) dyed my hair, (ace) and had a lovely shower :D

I swept round, the LR and Kitchen, did 2 loads of washing and drying. *phew* what a whizzzzzzzzzz

Now got friend's little girl over for a sleepover. I think all is quiet up there now.

Also, thanks everyone for your thoughts and reassurances re: DD2 yesterday. I'm hoping you're right, and that it's just a sibling issue. I think she was really tired and scratchy. We had words last night, about how unappreciative she and her big sister had become again. They both got upset, and apologised for being grotty with me and their little sister. Today has been better. :D:D

Hope everyone's feeling well. Carol I'm glad to hear your hand is a bit better. Burns are foul.

Lil-me really glad to hear that you're not having to stump up and ton of cash for the caravan. :j :j That's great news!! yay!

Ok, better post this before it takes up a whole page all by itself.

  • Thanks Julie - I thought thats what it meant but wanted to check.. I'm not worried, we've used the heating much more this time, so it evens out over the year. Or at least thats what Daddy Dearest told me...

Right going to get my bottom in gear and do the ironing, there's only a few bits so i'll be back in a bit xxxx

ETA: WOOOO!! Yay and big big hugs for you SarahS!!

Have been up to the linen closet and cannot find any cream or lemon blankets, sorry Pigpen I only have the pink ones thata I still use.

NOW we know why she wanted us to tidy our airing cupboards!:rotfl:

newby money saving chicki - ((((((hugs)))))))

SS - I think I missed something... I knew you were making some tough decisions but didn't realise you'd gone through with it. Maybe if you put down on paper what would be 1 (what you are legally entitled to plus rather a lot more...), what your entitlements are, and what your position is he'll see how reasonable you're being. More importantly, are you sure you can afford to be so generous? (((hugs)))

sexy - ((((hugs)))) to you too. Remember that we're not all that far away, so you never know, after Froddy's organised for us to meet up you might have some more 'real' friends too! When I moved here (from London) I didn't know a soul, but I met some really lovely people through my gym - 2 years of going to the same classes and having mats next to each other EVERY time and we finally decided to go for a coffee after class :rotfl: Be brave, pick a regular after work class (then you'll meet people who you'll be able to see after work when you're working full time, which I'm sure will be soon) and start talking to people. You'll find a friend.

Mudbath - beat you :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

funfairprincess - I'm glad he finally decided to tell you and hope it is all now sorted. Hope Piper had fun helping you today :D

    Well done Megan :T :T :T

Carol - how's the hand today?

Flower - if you want someone to read through your proposal, feel free to email me... anything's better than the request for proposal that I've got on my list for tonight :o

Pigpen - thought you were quiet yesterday. Won't cross my eyes like toots or I won't be able to see  ... but plenty of positive vibes coming your way. ... and I forgot to say, congrats on the credit card. Good luck with the meter move :D

Crafty - I've just been forcibly upgraded from Office 2003 to 2007 at work and it's driving me nuts... even Outlook is different

    Anyone want my kids??!!??

No thanks... think I should try the whole letting one person live in my house again first before I have midgets round here :D

AnW's mum - ((((hugs)))) you're the kind of person who makes me realise that maybe I am missing out, despite the bashing that goes on. Not everyone manages to have what you clearly have done, but I don't want to get into cliches as it'll either set you off or make you feel nauseous :p

casleigh - well done. Don't overdo it though, or we'll have to put you in the naughty corner where toots goes when she goes overboard

lg - well done on the weight loss

juliff - it's not a fun situation, particularly as its both of you. First time is the worst, after that it gets easier.

lil-me - great news on the caravan. Hope your laptop is sorted soon.

Greenbee I loved that Native American saying very apt, found out yesterday a friend of mine has just lost her daughter.

Not me... think it was Froddy... I was at WORK!!! WORKING!!!! I think I had Pigpen's goldfish though, and I'm sending it back as it's rubbish, I prefer my own :D

My hands, sometimes, are really painful (particularly the one I use for the computer mouse) for no apparent reason. A couple of my knuckle joints swell occasionally too. I think I may have arthritis...

I think you've got arthritis too... go get it checked out please ...

GnB - good to hear LO is doing OK. Fingers crossed for March 10th.

Just off to compose an email to the council about the lack of insulation my 9 year old house has. Me thinks they are trying to get me to buy some cavity wall insulation that I don't need.
Mine did something similar... apparently it could save me £340 a year:eek:... I don't spend that much on heating in a year
Toots - what YOU did helped :D
I want you all to know that Toots is an :A

We know that already... but what we REALLY want to know is whether she has listed anything on ebay :p

Greenbee - you've really set me off on one about gas and electricity. You'll be proud of me. I've made myself a nice little table and am adding my usage, cost, credit in account etc. Now, little question....would you normally expect Jan/Feb to be as high a usage (if not more) of gas and electric as December? Since my op i've had my heating off most of the time and i'm now in credit by £23 wheras 1 month ago my credit was £2.61. Does this suggest we're using less? I can't compare monthly totals as I usual only do readings every three months. Ok, I need to get a life but this is fun!!:rotfl: Why didn't you suggest I do gas and electricity tables weeks ago!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: xx

Sign up for imeasure... there's an mse group I'll send you the details of www.imeasure.org.uk. You get graphs & everything  If you survived the snow without extra heating, then December would generally be higher due to hols/Christmas - late nights and other people home so you're more likely to have the heating on all day. Also more hot water (more meals, more washing up. Special occasions/going out so more showers/baths). Kids at home - more electronics... late nights, more lights).

Possibly the silliest question i've asked, but i got my leccy bill today and i'm £7.68 in debit - does this mean I overpaid or underpaid?? I think (after getting v confused by the numbers) that I underpaid. I know it will sort out with the next direct debit bill thingy, just thought i'd check. Ahhhh growing up is difficult!

You owe them money. Are you on quarterly or monthly DD? Either way, it should balance out over the full year of your contract.

Anyone know any good lowering cholesterol web sites? DH was told last year his was high and was supposed to go back for another test. I'm MAKING him go in three weeks as i'd rather he was on tablets than had heart problems. Anyway, he's walked the dogs at night for a few weeks and is going to start cycling to work as I know exercise is important. Is there any cholesterol busting superfood?

OOoo...I'm interested in this too as I've developed a cholesterol spot by my eye again :o Not in any fit state to do it tonight though...I'm having a night off so I'm enjoying some wine while I don't have to worry about DD ;):D
nicki - where are you going to have it and do you have any others? I really want another .........
I was going to have it done on my left shoulder blade but I'm now thinking about getting it on the top of my left arm instead. I've not got any others - this would be my first :D I've been wanting one as long as I can remember though (at least :D15 years - I remember designing different ones when I was supposed to be doing my exams when I was in 3rd year seniors :rotfl: )

Asda shop done - way too much shopping bought. I've just decluttered "numbers" & "Its not easy being green" from the freeview box. Now I'm watching "Girl interrupted" and decluttering a bottle of wine. ;) I was going to watch "Final Destination 2" but I've realised I've seen that one already  Only "Thirteen", "American Pie 2", "Grand Designs", and "Num3ers" from tonight to go :rotfl:

Oh and I'm also pretty impressed with myself. I'm currently on my laptop instead of the PC. :D Before I couldn't get any webpages to load, then I remembered about the proxy settings that the technician in school/placement changed so I changed them myself and now it works :D:j One of my first "techie" problems I've solved by myself :D:j
