Not much flying done this last two days. Yesterday was DH's birthday and we went shopping for his pressie and then we were invited out for dinner. Today it was hairdressers this morning but managed to the shopping on the way home and then off to art class this afternoon. Will have to play catch up at the weekend when DH is at work. Two more meals out at the weekend so bang goes my Slimming World eating plan, and I was so good last week - lost 4lbs. I can see some of that back on at next weigh in. Never mind DH is not 65 every week.
By the way Stardrops is only 40p at Mr A's at the moment.Joined Slimming World originally in December 05 at 17st 9lb and then followed a very hilly route. I now weigh 11st 12 lbs. Whoops, I'll now have to confess to being 12st 12lbs.:o0 -
Soappie and Froddington - have tried to find records for my grandfather, but its proving diffficult (very complicated story). Its on my list of things to do in the summer. You are very lucky to be able to find out about your relatives!
My Grandfather being in the Navy helped cos they've got his service record, but trying to piece together the snippets of info about how and where he died is much more difficult. And as for my Grandmother .......... well, a few skeletons in the closet there:rolleyes: Certainly not uncomplicated stories by any means, but then they're not boring either. As I mentioned before, Grandfather's service life and death reads like a film script!!

Carol - make sure you don't put lavender on your burn for too long...i've just finished my clinical aromatherapy course and more than a few days use isn't considered to be a good thing.
Greenbee - you've really set me off on one about gas and electricity. You'll be proud of me. I've made myself a nice little table and am adding my usage, cost, credit in account etc. Now, little question....would you normally expect Jan/Feb to be as high a usage (if not more) of gas and electric as December? Since my op i've had my heating off most of the time and i'm now in credit by £23 wheras 1 month ago my credit was £2.61. Does this suggest we're using less? I can't compare monthly totals as I usual only do readings every three months. Ok, I need to get a life but this is fun!!:rotfl: Why didn't you suggest I do gas and electricity tables weeks ago!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: xx0 -

Thanks Mudders - I didn't know that (but i'd probably get bored after a couple of days anyway)
Possibly the silliest question i've asked, but i got my leccy bill today and i'm £7.68 in debit - does this mean I overpaid or underpaid?? I think (after getting v confused by the numbers) that I underpaid. I know it will sort out with the next direct debit bill thingy, just thought i'd check.
