Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    ooh I know this!!

Turpentine or whatever you use to clean brushes is fine unless it is a plastic seat.. in which case it will melt it!

Is it not just water based paint though and will sponge off with a wet cloth.. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRUMSTANCES RUB IT!

julliff ((big hugs with a gentle kick up the bum for you)) it's easy to get into what I call 'slumps' when these things happen. It's no great help but maybe a small comfort that there are very many in the same situation at the moment. Fingers firmly crossed that something comes up soon for you both.
pigpen - everything crossed! I think if I had so many I'd be excited about getting them all off to school too
SarahS, just an idea, you could boil water in a pan (I know it looks murky) to get bugs out and use to clean the SC...as for the ex he can have a grrrr from me too. I'd grab some legal advice on the ex.
mummyyof5 well done to your Megan, oh I was such an untidy teenager and a horder too so I know how gastly room tidying/decluttering can be but I bet she has loads of space now, 6 bags, wow!!
funfairprincess I was the same when both boys went, in fact DS2s first day at nursery I cried then picked him up about an hour early as I missed him, made a pathetic excuse :o they even could tell I was fibbing. He did full time nursery from 3 1/2 same as DS1 so school thing was a bit easier. I love having them off school, I just hate morning mayhem!
toochoosey well done on finding the remote, mines still missing....

Well I did ok, bit longer than half an hour LR done - box filled with OU stuff, basket filled with games (I actually really like them now, I'd resisted for ages as they are expensive but they do look nice, better than a games/DVD rack) floor swept (will deeper clean when boys in bed!) then did bathroom which was a general scrub of loo/sink/bath and a tidy up, many empties flingered. Desk area in my room decluttered, small desk now so not much room for clutter on it which is a plus. I've got the steak casserole/stew for dinner on low (was originally a SC batch cook) will make some dumpldinks to chuck in there, need to do the spuds then dinner is prepared :D I took the towels in off the line I forgot I'd put out and popped them in the TD to finish them off, put another load in WM and gathered another from upstairs - it's definately breeding this week! I've also filled the DW and got that going.

So toots can I please have the LR and bathroom/study star, I've not managed the master bedroom yet to level 3 unfortunately....Oh and toots THANK YOU for my little hookie things, I actually needed both as another snapped last week, you're a star!!! I'd not managed to find any yet, my bras (being in a 'special' size) are so expensive, £30 ish usually, I can't afford to just fling them.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
