Ring the waterboard - if you have no useable fresh water they have to provide you with the bottled stuff.

Sarah.. until the youngest child is out of compulsory education (or still in full tiem education until they are 18/19 he CANNOT LEGALLY ask you to do that.. (unless you remarry) So tell him to piddle off!!
The water has to be off/unusable for at least 12 hours before they offer the bottled stuff... in fact it might even be 24 hours now.. I was told a few weeks ago when they cut through my water pipe removing a lamp post outside my house but the goldfish in my head forgot!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Thanks Pigpen I didn't think so.
I think one of his problems is that he doesn't realise that I am actually offering a compromise.... He thinks I haven't moved from my position, and so I need to compromise..... if that makes sense?
point 1..................... point 5 (me) ......... point 7 ....... point 10 (him)
He's at point 10, but thinks I'm at point 1, and therefore need to move to point 5. I'm actually already at point 5, and he's actually asking me to move to point 7.
Does that make any sense???
I'm suggesting that he takes his salary, and I'll deal with everything else. I think I'm right in saying that's way more than is legally required of me.
ETA : that blooming goldfish is useless, I'd replace it for one with a better memory!!! :rotfl:MMSSB Club Founder Member

:hello: :hello: Afternoon everyone
Kitchen s/s, crofters pie all prepared and ready to go into oven, washing basket nearly empty:j , trampoline built up again so Piper is out playing meaning she'll sleep early tonight. OH and me are going to clear the cupboard at the door, totally dreading it, but if I can get it emptied out then I can have a plummer look at putting pipes in there for WM. The plumming for the WM is on the top landing outside the bathroom (not by me the people who we bought the house from!). Can't understand it really with a huge kitchen but for us to put WM in the kitchen I would waste the units hence the cupboard idea.
Decluttering a cup of tea now :shhh: apart from bath time and the cupboards I'm doing nothing else today!!!
TootsAll done:D

TBH other than a few odd points which I had to be aware of when friends have separated I'm not entirely sure.
debts in HIS name he can take too..
He has to make some financial contribution towards the upkeep of the children but he also has to provide security for them until they reach adulthood.. and oddly enough.. if you were married he has to provide the same for you until eith eryou remarry or the children reach adulthood.. as the mother of his children and former wife he is legall ybound to provide for you as his family, whther he lives with you or not and whether you divorce or remain married.. I LIKE that rule! lol
I'd tell him as part of his contribution to the upkeep of HIS family he can continue paying the mortgage and you'll deal with everything else! Because of the distress it would cause the children if you had to move them etc.. as little disruption to them as possible is paramount, they have already had to deal with the separation and it would be unfair to expect them go live elsewhere when they are vulnerable and might have to be in a grotty area!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Yes I think so. He's off Saturday and Sunday for a change this week as normally it's Friday and Sunday, so we're hoping to do some stuff together. One thing that frustrates him is when I can't do some of the practical things around the house, like changing a plug etc, so I've asked him to teach me some things that he thinks I should know how to do too.
How are you feeling today? I hope that you're feeling better and not getting dizzy like you were the other day.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170
