    I took DS and a couple of his friends skiing (for DS's birthday at the weekend). That exercise, coupled with lack of sleep (teenaged boys need no sleep at all, apparently :confused: ) and I'm now exhausted. I did enjoy the skiing, though, and it wasn't at all busy :j

    Anyone up for HHC 2:30 - 3:00 (when the hairdresser should be arriving ;) ). Edit - Mozzy and iriedaughter - I'm in with you!!

    Wohoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

    Swift are fixing the caravan, I'm so pleased, so relieved I haven't stopped grinning since they phoned!!! Saving me £1500 which I can now spend on holidays, have been looking at where to go since.

    The laptop delivery has been messed up again but nothings going to put a damper on me being in such a good mood now!

    Oh I haven't done any of the list but now I will :D I think I know one of the reasons now for my slump as I was so worried about it and if we could holiday this year.

    Boinks in for the HHC 14.15pm :D
    One day I might be more organised...........:confused:

    hi All,

    I'm afraid I've lost momentum on this. As I mentioned on Monday, OH & I are both looking at redundancy over the next few weeks, and I woke up this morning feeling really glum.

    Went out with daughters today, to get new school shoes, and buy a cherry tree from Aldi (£4.81 - bargain). Girls have been great helping me with chores (13 & 12, so well capable).

    Back now, but struggling to fnd enthusiasm.

    Have applied for several jobs - but only time will tel if they come to anything - have got interview for a 6 month contract next tuesday

    Anyway ----so far

  • Oh and mumoftwo - my friend liked that song by Beyonce (what was her band called) that went 'you thought i'd be weak without you but i'm stronger' all the way through stuff like that about a breakup - very empowering i think!! have a listen

    It's by Destiny's Child and it's called "Survivor". Love it!

    MOJT I've started a list too, it really helps. I'm up to reason 37 : no waking up to stinky bedroom cos OH has been farting all night :eek: :eek:

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Hi All :hello:
    Aaaaaarrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhh
    Things have gone t!ts up in the Shattered household. Some numpty has damaged a water main, so the whole street has no water. :mad: :mad: The plan was for the children to go out with their Grandma this afternoon. And while they were gone I was going to catch up with my lists.... :mad: :mad:
    But I can't do anything!!!! the water coming out of the tap is disgusting, so I'm sitting here in my pjs, with conditioner on my hair from last night ( I leave it to sink in so I can tame the mane ) ...... So, my head's itching. I want a shower, the children have gone out without a wash... ( which won't kill them - but still! ) The SC needs to be cleaned before I can use it... so the Mulligatawny Soup I was going to make for tea is out.
    We're s'posed to have my friend's daughter over this evening for a sleepover.... aaaaarrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhh
    I'm so cheesed off!!!!!
    Plus... OH thinks I should pay him his share of the equity in the house so he can buy somewhere :confused: Hmmmm.... how exactly??? He suggested I asked my family?????????????????? For £40,000???????? :mad: :mad: :mad:
    I'm really not very chirpy today.
    ~~~~~~~~~BLOWS HUGE RASPBERRY~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Ok, I'm off to see what sludge is coming out of the tap, and unload the DW. I'll see what I can get done without water.

    !!!!oh!!! :idea: I can clean my teeth using mouthwash to rinse. Minty!!! :D

    Ring the waterboard - if you have no useable fresh water they have to provide you with the bottled stuff.

    Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
