Appointments made for DD5 for referral to physio, DS3 for referral to eye clinic and Peaches to be spayed

Just don't get the appointments mixed up ;):rotfl::rotfl: And good luck with that other thing you're not telling us about;)

Anyone feeling down in the dumps I'd suggest ringing the speaking clock - had me giggling at the railway station :rotfl::rotfl:

DD is deposited at her dads, I'm child free until Sunday afternoon, I've managed to complete my assignment due today on the train so just came home, logged into the OU and ticked the right boxes so thats submitted now :D:j:j Soooo I'm off down to Asda as we've run out of spread  and I'm going to get some choccies & crisps to munch and I think I might treat myself to an "a-la-ding" meal since my cupboards are full of spaghetti shapes and pasta  Then I've got about 4 films to watch :rotfl::rotfl: Tomorrow I tackle the house AND important phonecalls, THEN the rest of my studying as I've only got 2 weeks left on my NVQ course and I've done next to no writing for it!! Now I just need to find a bag to use to go shopping as I've just realised I gave DD my rucksack which I normally use  Catch you all later

  • Newie Money Saving Chick-the biggest hug for you
AnW's mum - (hug) I was thinking about you today before you posted and I did think at least my children do have their father. He has got to work late today and tomorrow so won't see them until Saturday ewhich is really hitting home for him ;(
Maybe things haven't worked out for me-unfortunately I think that we started to have problems when my sister died but I didn't realise it :(. Have to say that H has been really nice today which I have to say is making it a little difficult for me and I have been caught crying by DD so had to stop as quickly;y as I could. I realised today that I miss the DH I had 2-3 years ago. He went somewhere and I don't really know where. I know that I have changed as well and it isn't one sided.

Anyway children have been fed and will put on some washing soon and get DS and DD ready for bed.

    Evening all

Aww Sexymouse - big hugs love - hope it works out for you.

Funfairprincess - that's horrible about the bully

newbymoneysaving - big hugs on your loss

AnW'sMum - re the hair - it's interesting how different widows react in different ways. You want it kept the same for DH but Nice neighbour, when her husband died almost immediately went to the hairdresser and had her extremely long hair (she could sit on it) cut really short and has never grown it even shoulder length again

Summermoon - things aching for no apparent reason seems to be a constant as you get older. My hands, sometimes, are really painful (particularly the one I use for the computer mouse) for no apparent reason. A couple of my knuckle joints swell occasionally too. I think I may have arthritis..

Frodders - sorry you're so down. I wonder if it was the visit to the museum yesterday? I know sometimes when I've spent a few hours doing FH research that I get a bit maudlin about these ancestors of mine who are no longer with us. I was particularly bad after finding out the details of my Great Uncle's death. He died towards the end of WW2. He'd survived being a PoW in Japan, along with building the Burma railway etc. only to be killed when the Japanese PoW ship he was on was sunk by an American (!) submarine. Took me days to get over that..

Lil-me - top news about the caravan getting fixed

I'm taking it easy tonight. Have been feeling more and more blurgghh as the day has gone on and think I have a full blown cold coming on. I've warned them all I may not be in tomorrow. But I shall see how I feel when I get up in the morning.

So, I'm off to gently potter, cook some chicken pieces in a casserole for dinner and have an early night. Flying can go hang...
