Quick question for any of you perfume-knowledgy Bootsers ... are any of the Girard perfumes in the gift sets the sort of thing that might appeal to someone who likes Chanel No5 and Chance (I don't know what No5 smells like and have only smelled Chance briefly)?
Got myself a Bali Sunrise set today - still loads of Love Notes booklets out in Princes Street. Then used my points to get the new Britney Spears fragrance, Hidden Fantasy, which I actually really like.
Somewhat more successful than my trip in there yesterday, where I had 5 S&G vouchers confiscated.0 -

Hi
I think you just have to move on now. You have apologised publicly and via PM and I think you need to just leave it and hopefully Sandra will log in and see what you have said. Sandra has always come across as a very gracious and forgiving person and I am sure once she sees the support from everyone and your apologies she will re-think her decision not to post anymore.
It's not always easy to say sorry but you have done so and I'm sure it will be appreciated.

Only up to yesterdays 6pm posts, so apologies if already mentioned.
Went to the home of 'Shampoogate' yesterday (Norwich) needless to say, no HE anywhere but did get the 1/2 price serum in the Castle Mall branch, with free GWP. On the display, by the door, there was a £5 off ACM voucher with a note to say if you didn't have one, ask at the No7 counter as they had some! With my 1st shop I used 1 I alreay had, as was also buying some S&G, on the 342 - no problem, just manually charged at 20p each. However later in the day I decided to get another 2 of them for my 2 sisters birthdays and only had 1 £5 off voucher left - told the SA, who said, 'no problem, we have loads'. Not sure what she scanned as she did it below the till - maybe adds weight to the product being rebranded, and them wanting to shift. However, the SA agreed with me that at £25 a lot of people will not buy it, but at £12.50 (with the £5 off & free GWP), many will.
I then saw a note that the expensive face serum had a 1/3 off, so approx £66 . Not sure when this finishes, and is not on .com, so may just be for this store. Can't afford it, even at this price, so didn't ask any more details, sorry, but am sure someone here may be interested. It was on the display in the far corner, by the door, and right next to the note for the 1/2 price body serum.

What reason did they give you for confiscating them???0 -
fadedpages; how awful about your vouchers? can they take them when they were
yours?
glad you had a better shop today.
veruccasalt ;i hope you or SS don't leave :T
we've had 'nappygate' and 'shampoogate' and sure enough they'll be many more 'gates':rotfl:
but don't let that put you both off please.2020 Jan: storage box,£150 pots & pans, £50 restaurant voucher, dining experience,19 tubes of Pringles Feb: £50 food giftcard,0 -
The supervisor told me that for me to use more than one voucher they needed to be different barcodes (that's why I wanted to put them through as separate transactions ...), that I shouldn't have printed out more than one, and that she could give me one back but would have to put the rest in the bin. Mind you, this same supervisor was insistent that I couldn't use them on minis, as she knew for a fact that vouchers aren't valid on miniatures, even though it DOESN'T say that on the voucher.0

That's really not on - they can refuse to accept them sure but to take them away from you I don't think that is in order and I would contact CS to tell them about this. This type of thing is only done when people use stolen credit cards or fake money!!
I would tell CS how you were made to feel like a criminal who had handed over a stolen credit card. Very bad customer service I would say.0 -
i agree with Angie100, it was still your property! fair enough you couldnt use more than one but to take them off you is wrong.2020 Jan: storage box,£150 pots & pans, £50 restaurant voucher, dining experience,19 tubes of Pringles Feb: £50 food giftcard,0
