None at Glasgow Silverburn or East Kilbride Retail park today - havent seen any elsewhere sorry. Just let you know so you don't bother to travel there.

    Welcome:hello: WBx
  • Evening all, hope you are all well. Have a few things to report today, so here goes. Vs, all credit to you for your very humble appology, dont cancel your membership, we all have our off days, as someone reminded me when i was having my hormone fuelled moments the other week (Thanks Brocolo). Ss you know you love your bootsing, so come back and share your stories pls pls pls. Thankyou to the op who posted regarding teething granules, used these today and miraculosly dd is sleeping:T. Now about my comedy sized A4 S&G vouchers, i did actually use one on saturday at a teeny weeny boots in edgbaston, I warned the sa not only about problems with voucher, but also ridiculous size of said voucher. SA not amused in slightest, tried to argue that because i had used acm voucher for wipes i was already receiving offer and couldnt use the voucher as it says not to be used in conjunction with any other offer ( i nearly said EHHHH). Anyhow was very patient and explained one was not anything to do with the other, but if she really wanted would she like me to split the transactions ( bear in mind i am only trying to purchase one s&g item) That and the queue slowly building up behing me galvanised her into action, and she said "oh i dont know why they bother sending these out they never work anyway!" To which i replied with a smile on my face "Anoying isnt it" She peered over her glasses and said , i will take the £2 of maually. I was pleased but didnt bother doing it again today, cause didnt have children so wanted to make the most of my day out, rather than spend it waiting for managers for 20 odd mins etc, as other have reported. So all in all, wasnt that much fun using it, shame really i like a good giggle.

Heads up for those near the Bham high st store, Loads of model me reduced, not all of it is marked as reduced, but till brings up reduced price, T&G voucher bleeped , but lovely sa added them on manually, they were reduced to under £2 so i grabed loads, but have left loads for anyone interested. No putting sets, or free GWPs or loreal men sets. They had some reduced Fish sets? they were in a drawstring bag. No girrad New york nights :(. The Bullring store had no reduced haircare or skincare, but did have some reduced No7 and some old gwp . Had a lovely day without the little uns, but had to get them something too, cause i missed them, absence makes the heart grow fonder and all of that:D

    Sorry about the long post:o
You laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

    Don't worry about it love.

Thanks for asking WeeBug and SophieRabbit. Dad is not too good at the moment. Apparently the high dose chemo has kicked in and he can't keep anything in him at all. It's all so scary and Mom is really worried. Keep praying for him. I am praying for him loads, hope it makes a difference. He has to be better soon! Mimi is so scared!

I have a feeling Sandy will be back soon. I remember someone having a go at her before and she went and then came back. We miss you Sandy!
  • *snickers* Mimi, your dream did make me laugh. Edit: Just seen your post above about your dad, I'll be thinking of you both.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I might give CS a phone tomorrow, see what they say. It can't hurt. That was the first time I've really been made to feel uncomfortable while Bootsing. I was intending on using the minis to put together a present for my fiance's mum for Mother's Day, but have given up on that idea now, it's not worth the hassle. Hence the question about the Girard sets instead (thanks for the answer btw, Karen Mac).
  • Thanks for that!

Glad I didnt make OH take to me EK as I had planned. Settled for Newton Mearns instead and if anyone is interested they had quite a few Girard Sets there for £8/£9. No Love Notes though so you would have to go prepared - which I wasn't :o. Settled for some John Freida Serum - free with Wrinklie and half price Nivea face wash for OH (sweetener for taking me). Also picked up leaflet to get him his own AC. You are all teaching me so well!! :T

No reduced brag books in Bristol - not even BOGOF either. I even got them price checked at the till!!!! Your store must be discontinuing them!!!

They are the only reduced items in this neck of the wood & even I haven't seen them :rotfl: Moobags must have whipped them:D

I would love to know the Boots logic to why our area heavily hit by job losses does not have the amount of reductions found in other areas:confused:

ps Angie I have a spare if you would like one.

    xx
