- they had the mini brag books in blue, pink and lilac. For some reason the pink is £2.99, and the others are £2.93
Thank you to whoever it was for the heads up about the JF hairspray - I got one of those with my £2 wrinklie, so it only cost me 44p. I have a few left, so will be going back for more. I also got an Olay Regenerist cleanser, which was £6.99, and used a £5 wrinklie against that. I got my daughter, who was with me, a 125g bar of dark Galaxy (don't fancy dark chocolate myself, but she wanted it) marked down to 63p, and they had quite a lot of them there, on the other side of the display unit which is opposite the sandwiches.
I asked a wandering SA if they had the new S&G range, and she went to check for me. She came back, saying the branch was not going to be stocking them, but they did have one thing out the back - can't remember what she said it was called, but it had Wizard in the name. She said if I wanted any of that range I could order them instore, but I pointed out the £40 minimum spend to avoid the £2.89 P&P charge. She told me it had now been reduced to £25, but I've just checked on dot com and it still says £40. Does anyone else know what the sitution is? It seems rather unfair to me that customers either have to pay a delivery charge or have a minimum spend, just to get something delivered to the branch that their particular branch doesn't stock. Why should we be penalised for it?
The SA said she often gets asked for Benefit or Urban Decay, so can't understand why the branch doesn't stock those either.
Anyway, I got some other S&G I wanted, which was on 342, and thought I'd try my luck with the £2 voucher which was emailed to me by S&G. I even had the email to hand to show in case it was queried. Till said no - I hadn't met the required conditions
It really bugs me when I get vouchers that I can't use just because my local branches don't stock the items. The Chequers Centre branch isn't a small one, either!I ordered something at Christamas instore for store delivery and it was freeI know if you order online you have to pay , I received an email saying it was now only £25 also showing on .comThis is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.Robert M. Bellydancer, in my Boots email today it says it is now only £25.
Oh and about Benefit and Urban Decay, it's not about 'stocking' them as such, they're companies who hire space in stores. So it's really up to the companies whether they think it's worth selling from that boots or not.
Thanks, Gueld. I didn't see any signs at ours and dot com still says £40 - they don't advertise these things very well (having said that, I'll probably get an email about it from Boots as soon as I've finished typing this lol) As you've seen signs now, I think I'll compile a little shopping list to buy from dot com through the branch. I wasn't prepared to spend £40, but think I'll easily top £25, even with use of a voucher0 -

I ordered during the 50% sale, but it was well over the £40 so no charge. Just looked at my basket on dot com, and it definitely says 'free delivery on orders over £40'. Maybe I should try clearing it (been doing some trial shops over the past couple of days) and it might change.0 -
Very good point - how right you are!!!! Come on Mr B - get with the programme!! LOL
I went to my local this morning and bought a phone top up for £5.00 hoping to get a Pinky. I had seen the body serum still at 1/2 price so thought I would get it. However I was given a skincare/haircare voucher instead. So I left with nothing else. I went back this afternoon and picked up the Body serum and went to the till with my 250 point voucher, £5.00 P & P VOUCHER and my 100 points Body Beautiful. I asked the assistant if they had the Pinkies and she said they had come in this afternoon. However when I asked her if she could change the voucher I got earlier for 1 she said no. Then the Body Serum went through at £24.50 so I told her that the 1/2 price was up behind her so she took it down and read it and it said it finished yesterday. She tried to say I would have to pay full price but I stood my ground and got it for £7.25 plus 250 points ( she said I could not use the Body Beautiful one though) She also did not want to take the ACM voucher as she said you can only use it in stores with ACM machines. Anyway I got another Body Serum at £7.25 for my sis but I think she is wrong about the ACM thing. She said she would get in trouble for taking the vouchers so if I want to use a pinky and P & P voucher I will go elsewhere. She did then give me a Pinky and a Skin/Hair voucher. I also received 2 T & G vouchers in the post from a kind person on there. I got my son his own AC card today which I am going to put points on for him to use for lunches.0 -

Yes, that is a load of rubbish. I used the p&p voucher in llandudno today and they don't have an advantage card machine :rolleyes:0 -
Does anyone know if once you have printed off 3 ACM vouchers - you can do the same the next day? It wouldn't let me print more than 3 - but if you can print more off the next day I will be able to send all the people who have pmd me one.
Anyone know?
