Don't feel bad as you did the right thing imo too. Things like that are a common occurance in the town and even yesterday I was nearly knocked flat by a security guy who was chasing someone.

My late Dad (bless him x) tried to stop some youths who were beating up a neighbour (and this was a while back, not like it is nowadays.) All he got in return was a trip in an ambulance after having his glasses smashed in his face, numerous cuts and bruises, chipped bones, and a hernia.

You took the best route, believe me x It does put you off shopping during half-term and even after school hours sometimes, but why these gangs target Boots is beyond me

Thank you for your kind words. They're much appreciated. :A

Will cheer myself up with a quick trip to London Colney to get some free nappies from Sainsbury's (they owe me) and will force myself to go into Boots. Sigh! It's a hard life. ;)

  • Are there points vouchers in the mens No7 GWP? I have that many ladies GWPs now that I don't need any more. TIA
  • Hi Everyone,

    been bootsing again lol :rotfl:

    1st shop
    NO7 body serum £12.25
    GWP £0.00

used 250 points out of gwp that I bought the other day
    100 points acm
    £5 off P+P

    total paid £7.25
    + gained 350 points,
    boots logic = £3.75 + gained wrinklie.

However, the SA wasn't amused + told all SA's not to give out the NO7 gwp for spending under £18. so I couldn't buy them again at that shop errr lol.

anyway, I then went + got the S+G'S

    = bought 6 x S+G mini's
    used 6 x vouchers
    total 20p x 6 = £1.20 + got 48 points back as well
    boots logic = 72p

I then went to shop no. 2 + bought the same as I bought in shop 1, the body serums + gwp's, two more times .. taking out the 250 points coupon after I had bought the product to use on the next transaction :D gained 2 x wrinklies.

    then went to shop 3
    bought girard £8.56
    used 500 points voucher
boots logic £3.56 + gained wrinklie.

then went back to shop 1
    + bought

    4 x JF 5ml serum
= free with 4 wrinklies well hairies lol,

    4 olay face wash £5.86
    + got 4 gwp's = 3 x L'oreal + 1 x olay.
    used 4 wrinklies = 86p x 4

    Total spent was nearly £35,
total back in points = nearly 1600

    so.... boots logic = £19 for 25 items :j

    I went out with no wrinklies + 1 x 250 NO7 points voucher
    I came home with no wrinklies + 1 x 250 NO7 points voucher lol

I think I had a good day even though I spent 90 mins on the bus travelling to + from the big Boots.

    Angel x

    2011 Birthday pressies bought = loads :)
2011 Christmas pressies bought = loads
  • Natural Collection voucher taken, these ones still available:

    2 x save £5 on P&P skincare
100 points on any product from No7 Body Beautiful range
100 points for Botanics Mature Facial Skincare range
150 points when you spend £20
  • I got a voucher and sample through the post from Boots yesterday.
It was for 500 pts when you buy any Olay Regenerist product, Im assuming that this could be used with a wrinklie?? So Olay Regenerist Daily Regenerating Cream Wash - £6.99 - £5 is £1.99 with 500pts!

Thing is I would love a No7 GWP, does anyone have a spare GWP they would like to swap the 500pts voucher and £5 skincare voucher for?

    TIA
    D
    xx

thanks, was planning on going to the fort tomorrow, although i don't know how i'll get through the 90min bus journey there, then another 90mins to get back!
Luckily the bus from my house goes straight there, so dont need to get off in town and change or anything. Need to make sure my ipod is charged now! ha

Whilst i appreciate the gesture, having been kicked out of the store, i feel as theough i have been treated unfairly, and as they have obviously had my account scrutinised, and no problem found, im not sure whether i am still welcome in the store, for something for which i was not guilty of!

Oh my days! I'm so annoyed on your behalf.

Putting aside the issue of the voucher, there's no way on earth I'd have accepted their 'gesture' after being accused of something I hadn't done. I can't help except to say I'd a) Take advice, and b) take out any reference that could identify you from what you've written. As the OP (rose something?) knows to her detriment, posting about it only seems to exacerbate any 'situation'.

    Good luck x
