I have been to Barnsley store today, the S and G vouchers didnt work, the SA was lovely about it, tried each voucher i had, they all beeped, then took it to someone else to ask her, but she said they are only allowed on full size items, but told me to keep hold of them just in case i needed them for anything else.
I dont think i will be trying them again.

new vouchers are definately out tomorrow but SA didn't know which ones there were.

The s&g vouchers will only scan with no beeps f you use them against the facial skincare products s&g intended them to be used on. I've bought several items with no beeps because I wanted to try the range anyway and used them on ss tills with no probs. If their used on the normal pink or blue packaged s&g they will beep and its really upto the sa if theyll override. Normal s&g is classed as luxury bathing by boots, I think s&g maybe thought by specifying skincare on the email it would overcome any probs but they obviously didnt bank on persistent bootsers like us and the voucher part being shared around with some people never having seen the whole email with the voucher in context?
Sorry to ramble, hope the above makes sense? Just trying to help out where people have wondered why it beeps.

thankyou. so if £2 doesnt deduct should we just the sa if she could "manually type it in" or stand our ground and say it should work, its worked before etc...,
