Tamworth VP
Just had a decent trip to the above on the way home.
Picked up;
Dead Sea Source Jar thing - £1.96
FCUK Ltd Ed Bodycream - £1.04
FCUK Pure Tanning Stuff - £0.98
4 x Radox Restorative Bath Stuffs - £0.49ea
Johnson&Johnson Honey Oat Bath stuff - £0.49
No7 Minerals little bag thing - £3.50 (Free with No7 Voucher)
Total £6.49 & No7 Voucher Earned.
There were a couple of Radoxes, and 3 or 4 of the Dead Sea Jars left on the shelf. There were a couple of other FCUK things on reduced as well.(Think it was the same Body Polish stuff that I saw in Lichfield on Wednesday).
No idea what the jar thing does, but after washing it out it'll make a cracking little Mini Egg jar.:D0 -

To keep it Boots related, does anybody else like to just look at their Boots receipts?
I can relate to both parts of this post :T :T :T~ What goes around comes around ~0 -

I hardly ever wear any make-up, just lipgloss really but seem to be getting a nice stash of it since I started bootsing a year ago. Although I think I would have had alot more but my 3 DD's seem to have acquired some of it - at least its getting used though!!
I was in my local this morning looking at the No7 foundation that still had £14 on it and spoke to an SA at the No7 till and asked her if this one was reduced because my 'friend' had got it for half price in her local and she wouldnt scan it and said that 'no' it wasnt.I did notice that there was an anti-ageing one in the colour 'suede' that was £7.35 (this one I think -
http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=36086&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051
but this colour is much too dark for me or my DD's so I left it!!
I did manage to get 2 olay GWP's (one for me and one for my mum for mothers day) with only the olay definity cleanser (in 2 separate transactions) and I was worried it would beep but as I had picked it up from an end of aisle display which had the GWP and dearer creams on too I was prepared to just say that it was on a display and I thought it was incuded in the offer but thankfully I didnt need to say anything!! I must admit I'm much more happy with this GWP as it has 3 tester creams (great for travelling), a perfume sample, mirror etc... and hopefully I'll get to keep this one (the last GWP was grabbed by my DD's for the makeup brushes and eyelash curlers!!).
I also got the gillette shaving foam for 97p with the 150 points voucher and a 75ml Boots Extract Cocoa Butter body wash for £1.62 (there was 1/3rd of Extracts) and used a 150 points voucher that I got from the ACM.
I saw the smillie perfume that Sally06 said was in our local reduced to about £3 something and tried it but wasn't keen on it... The Nivea DNAge Zone that was £7.80 on clearance before the changover and could be used with the wrinklies has now gone down to £3.80 typically... There was lots of Amazon Forest reduced but overpriced in my opinion. Also a Veet hair removal cream and razor set on clearance for about £3.80 (this one I think) http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=11751&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051 and other Veet creams etc.. reduced but again quite a bit overpriced.. Veet is on buy one get one half price so it might make it worthwhile just not to me!!
Earned another £5 No7 voucher and am hoping to find the foundation reduced next time I go....
Hope you've all got some bargains today..
Hi Jemclasjess
Well done for getting the Olay GWP. I was going to try that this pm but they didn't have any cleansers
Re NO7 Foundation - we have the same local and I went in there after 4pm and the No7 lady was reducing them. They are with the main No7 and also with the clearance NO7 items. She must have known - get down there tomorrow am b4 everyone snaps them up.0 -

I'm not handing over any of my hard-bought Boots items (well, apart from the Gillette, No7 and KOS shave gels - OH can have them. Oh and quite a bit of my HE went to mum's church tombola last week). The rest of it is all mine mine mine - and I've just had to rearrange my drawers to accommodate it all :rotfl: .

Sorry and thanks stmidwfe for watching my little monster while i got my glasses i really didn't mean to be getting them today. Shame i didn't get a perkie when i bought them as i was going to give it to you for getting me those gift sets. I may email CS to see if i should have got one.
Its nice to see bootsers meeting up. well done.:T :T

Got 2 of these Gillette Fusion Power Stealth Gift Set for £4.90 each added pack of paracetamol to each purchase to get a perky. Silver bag ones @£2.49 had all gone and SA said she doubted any more would come in and even if they did staff would probably nabb them first.
( the razor alone is £9.79 albeit got 1/3rd off at the mo and 4 blades is £9.78 so though quite reasonable )
Also got the definity cleanser and GWp earning another perky
Still no mags by me thoughThis is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.Robert M. Hutchins0 -

I live in fear of a leaking HE bottle all over my other goodies. It's the dilemma of 'do you put each bottle/item/jar in a seperate bag, or risk a spillage' !
After each shopping trip I tally my receipts together in 3 columns: 'cash paid - points back = real price paid'.
Then next it's laying everything out, that was bought that day, and then a 'guess how much' session........:o
I reeeeaaaally should get out more :rotfl:(just not to Boots).0 -
