Ah right I see the difference now. Guess it's just P&M for now then as the other 2 are out of stock.
Anyone know what the expiry dates are on the latest orders.0 -
Am I right in thinking that Boots are now giving out a new £5 off No7 with a £5 spend? If so can you use it on colour cosmetics? I need one of those portable face powder brush thingies that are £11.0

yes, and yes:D0 -
I wonder if the p&p voucher will still work tomorrow. I'm sure peeps have mentioned using OOD ACM vouchers before and they went through the till without a beep.0

Wonder if you friend was at the NO7 counter by any chance?I ask as I once had a minor 'incidentl with girls on that counter in that store not with vouchers mind. Various things including not wanting to put points vouchers or acm valid vouchers through. I was later at main till and mentioned to a lovely SA who is so nice, and she gave me a knowing look as did her colleague and asked the names and strongly suggested I speak to manager. I was really reluctant to but she persuaded me as she thought I had definitely been misinformed and turns out manager also agreed in my favour!
She was at the No.7 counter! Funny thing was I was in the same store on Saturday and found a Pore Refining Serum on Last Chance to Buy stand priced at £5.65. I wasnt sure if I could use my Purkie so I asked the SA on the No.7 if I could and she was lovely and said she wasnt sure but "let's go and try". It worked and she really couldnt have been nicer. I asked my friend to describe the SA and unfortunately for her sounds like she got someone different but goes to show that it is just your luck sometimes! I experienced two different Boots on Saturday and dealt with about four different SAs and they were ALL lovely. My friend today - one Boots - one SA and one not very happy experience!0 -

Hi Everyone,
Had a bad day!
Tried to buy the £10 hand cream, which we can get using the NO7 voucher + the perkie, but SA said no! then when I said it worked yesterday when I bought them ( I did not lie + say a friend did + it worked ) in a different shop, the SA took my name off acm card + rang the shop I went to yesterday, she spoke to NO7 SA who said it won't work.....SNIPPED.......
considering the NO7 lady + the till let me get them yesterday, it's not as if the till beeped cos it won't as the 2 vouchers are proper ones to work with that item.

Sorry to hear of your bad experience. Yesterday I was told at the pharmacy counter that I couldn't use the purkie and the £5 off P&P together, so a bit later on I decided to be very ballsy (!!) and tried to get the handcream at the No 7 counter!! The SA was lovely, and it worked no problem! So it's not just different stores saying different things, it's different staff within the same store having a totally different view of things!
I totally agree with the Op (Sally06?) yesterday who said the ACM vouchers are to give us Bootsers an advantage over Joe Public, and that won't work unless we can use different vouchers together.
Hope you get things sorted out to your satisfaction - good luck!0 -
Hi Everyone,
Tried to buy the £10 hand cream, which we can get using the NO7 voucher + the perkie, but SA said no! then when I said it worked yesterday when I bought them ( I did not lie + say a friend did + it worked ) in a different shop, the SA took my name off acm card + rang the shop I went to yesterday, she spoke to NO7 SA who said it won't work, so then she told me my ACM card will get looked into, ( yes.. she was not a nice SA ) so I left the shop obviously very upset with what had happened + as there was only one till on, the queue was big, so I was even more humiliated by her + not to mention the bit about my card being looked into, i mean was I stealing? NO! I was using the vouchers that MR.B supplied to me with my name on...
I have came home + rang CS who then put me through to a manager, so as the computers are down will be ringing me back, when she sorts this out, cos even the manager said she was appalled by hearing about my bad day + that getting my acm card investigated was a bit too extreme, considering the NO7 lady + the till let me get them yesterday, it's not as if the till beeped cos it won't as the 2 vouchers are proper ones to work with that item.

Just read your post and I do feel for you.
Why is it that certain of Mr B's staff treat us in this manner, when all we are trying to do is use the vouchers/ coupons,
that boots themselves are offering us? If boots do not want us to use certain voucher combo's, then why does the till accept them?
I sometimes feel almost 'guilty', when going in to use my vouchers and this is because of staff such as the one you encountered today. It has, I am sure happened to many of us, to some degree, but then the day is often saved by a kinder/ or better trained SA,
who understands that it is boots policy to allow these money saving/ or extra points coupons to be used. Sadly this was not the case for you.
If boots were not offering such incentives, I doubt very much that we would all be shopping there on such a regular basis.
I do hope that the customer care dept, are able to sort this out for you and that the SA involved is retrained perhaps...
...in the real art of good customer care, so that this does not happen again.
There are so very many helpful SA's, that deserve our praise, but also a few, who are letting us and boots down.
HugsJazzteddy.
Taken from the boots website:
(The Kiosk is an excellent source of money-off coupons and extra points offers that can't be found anywhere else in store.
Print the coupons that take your fancy and then go and shop! Using the Kiosk is easy and existing card holders can also use it to join our Clubs and check their points balance. Why not try it for yourself?)
And no where does it state that you must be completely humiliated, whilst trying to do so!!0
