Well i have cleared out the voucher folder ready for the new ACM ones. Lets hope there is one to use with the perkie and points on S & G to go with the money off that has been spotted !

Had a mad dash round local Boots today to use up wrinklies, hairies and P&P/perkie combos. Eventually got a GWP lipstick in a colour other than Plum Beautiful (I think I have 6!!!) Dare Devil - a very racy red, still with 250 points though.

Anyway my last stop was in the retail park which opens late and they had a new Max Factor GWP out but no details of minimum spend. As the fab False Lash effects mascara was still on offer at £3 off (£7.76) I thought I would see if GWP went through. It did :j so I did this 3x.

The GWP is a black Lola Rose makeup bag containing:
Earth Spirits eyeshadow in Stormy Blue
Mini kohl eyeliner in black
mini colour adapt foundation
Miracle touch creamy blush in soft pink
Handbag mirror
Very nice, and it also comes with £2 off the mascara starting 25th Feb until 25th May

I would think tomorrow the signs will be up for a minimum spend of £15 but the SA's didn't know and just put them through for me. Couldn't see any other GWP's though.

Planning a Bootsing foray to merry hill at the weekend all being well!
Can anyone tell me if they have a reduced section and if so where. Also any other bargains?
Also have we got a list of free/ low value purchases with the perkie as I couldn't see on first post. TIA!!

I had a good and bad experience with SAs in the same store today - aiming to be wrinkle and hairy free by the end of today I literally only had minutes to do some shopping before I needed to be in work. Spotted a shelf full of TD wrinkle reducing night serum reduced to £2.50 as previously posted. Had 6 hairies and 6 wrinklies so was filling up my basket with the TD when another lady asked what the offer was and could she use this voucher on them - showing me a £5 P&P ACM - explained she could get free handcream if she had a perkie but she didn't, so long story short I swapped one of my wrinklies for her P&P voucher and she was delighted to get 2 x TD free! Filled up the rest of my basket with JF serum and Hairspray. SA put all transactions through separately (6) and I only had to pay 44p on three of the transactions the rest were absolutely free! 10 serums alone should have been £90+. Thanked the SA profusely as she was lovely and didn't mind a bit - said she'd better go and buy some herself pretty quick.

Next stop No 7 for hand cream,and lip cream + GWP - already had P&P voucher in my hand and No 7 SA said - oh no you can't have GWP if you use that because it will take your total spend to less than £18. Asked her to put GWP through and then take voucher off, and hang on I've got a perkie (didn't say that exactly but you know what I mean) and a 250 point voucher as well. No way she said, I could maybe let you use one voucher but not all 3. Fine I won't bother then I said - my "friend" said this would work but if it won't then I'm not bothered and I walked away - was going to sneak back and put the items in my basket and got back to manned tills but the queues were horrendous and no SS there so left it. Well I'd probably done OK out of Mr B today anyway.

I was in Boots today around lunchtime trying to spend my vouchers that expire today and there was a young SA who wheeled out several baskets of stock and put them on the clearance shelves....some things are pretty good. I got an Olay Definity day moisturiser for £6 (used wrinklie) so total £1 to pay! (think these are normally £25!)

There were a few toni and guy copper radiance full size shampoos so bought two and took them to the till with 2 t and g acm 150 pts vouchers and a hairy. SA said i dont think the points will work but it did and she was surprised! So then i took out the hairy and said since this is the last day i might as well use this up! She again said oh i doubt it will work but it did-only took 1 of the items off so i had £1 to pay. If i had thought i wud have got them separately and used another hairy and 150pts voucher but she had taken ages to put thro manually the items as they were clearance so i didnt want to antagonise her further as think she was a bit annoyed i was getting the bargains. She said to the SA next till, shud all these vouchers work together?? but she said if they scan then yea. She didnt put the vouchers in the till but kept them aside, think she was maybe gonna check it out further or use them herself!

Also got orbit (x14 sticks per packet) for 10p per packet on clearance so got a few of these (still lots left).

Had a few other bits and pieces but the prices are all just made up i think as there was some items the same but with different prices on them! Also ted bakers bag reduced to 4.** which i thought was expensive compared to some that were 50p and £1.

The clearance items didnt scan on the self servcie tills so had to take them to normal till.

Self service tills are great for coupon useage....they were pretty much unmanned today. There was a SA in the vicinity but not paying attention so i tried the P and P lipcare and ACM + prple and got £1.40 back in change....how bizarre getting paid to shop.

Also got 4 x roc micro dermabrasion refills for £1 each box. this was all the roc they had and no OlAY cleansers so used wrinklie and FREE!

Just need to keep an eye out for the ROC machine to use now...anyone seen it? or tried it? does it make a difference?

Forgot to mention the clearance section is by the escalators at the back of the ground floor in BA

Hi Everyone

Finally got my P+P Handcream today (got the voucher from the ACM about a week ago but too scared to try it!) Actually got my mum to do it but she gets 10% discount so at least it gave her a £1.00 off the rest of her shopping!
Also found in store today little boxes of free samples from La Roche Posay (new brand my store are stocking) three different types for different skin types and each one has a face wash 15ml, toner 15ml and a moisturiser 5ml it also has a voucher in it for a free handcream from the range when you buy any other product from the range worth £7.00 no expiry date - just says while stocks last

forgot to mention...in clearance there were loads of gilette items for 50p but sadly dont have any of the gillette vouchers from ACM.

And the sanctuary travel sets are SEL at £6.** and are scanning at £6.**. Think some peeps mentioned this was scanning in some boots for £1.72! so well done if you can get it.

I redeemed some points today on a pefume. While I was at the till I spotted 2 crispy purply vouchers on the counter by a till about 5 feet away. I was desperate to womble them, as the SA wasn't serving anyone at that till. Then, just as I was walking past, a customer plonked his basket down right next to the vouchers:eek: I quickly picked up the perkies (before the customer did:D )and asked the SA if I could have them. Both the customer and the SA looked at me with their mouths open wide. The SA hesitated a bit, (probably in shock) then said "sure you can" I was out of there before my feet could touch the ground. Afterwards, I thought "OMG, I can't believe I just did that" :rotfl:

My friend got pills from the doctor to help her memory - only trouble was she forgot to take them.

OMG, I saw these last time in southampton high street when the wrinklie was around and tried to get 2 but they beeped SA said no!
Actually saw them again today ( they're in old packaging arnt they)!! cant believe they went through.

Gutted!! Still got loads of wrinklies too!
