high street kensington still has quite a few green NC flannel cupcakes @ 61p if anyone is still looking for these.

I spotted a box full of the 17 bronzing GWP. It was near the make-up section. They often give away old GWPs in this store, so keep a look out for these over the next couple of days.

still lots of the pink jewellery box No7 GWP too, priced @ £3.00

I'm sure there was something else on offer at this store, but I have forgotten what it was:o does Mr B sell any products to boost ones memory?:rotfl:

I redeemed some points today on a pefume. While I was at the till I spotted 2 crispy purply vouchers on the counter by a till about 5 feet away. I was desperate to womble them, as the SA wasn't serving anyone at that till. Then, just as I was walking past, a customer plonked his basket down right next to the vouchers:eek: I quickly picked up the perkies (before the customer did:D )and asked the SA if I could have them. Both the customer and the SA looked at me with their mouths open wide. The SA hesitated a bit, (probably in shock) then said "sure you can" I was out of there before my feet could touch the ground. Afterwards, I thought "OMG, I can't believe I just did that" :rotfl:

Your gift when you spend £30 or more on selected YSL women's fragrance.

I recently bought the YSL 'Elle", ladies fragrance with points, in a reduced priced gift set
(think it was around £23.00 or so/ reduced from £36).
It included the fragrance and a body cream. I really like it, it lasts for ages and was well worth the points I used.

This says the offer is for 'selected' YSL...so I checked other perfumes that you could buy to get the gwp online
(tested this out by putting them in my basket) and these include: Rive Gauche, Baby Doll, Paris and Opium fragrances.
I saw this gift in store today and it looks quite nice/ the extra products would be a bonus too. HTH. :)

Yes, that's the one - thank you :)

I have lots of points saved up, so might go and test a few of those fragrances.
  • Hiya Everyone
I went bootsing to a couple of stores today + took my mam with me. :j

    Gave my mam 4 wrinklies + a hairy, she bought JF hairspray £2.44 - hairy = 44p + toothpaste ½ price on 342 = £1.62.
Nothing £5.86 to use the wrinklies up + nothing else my mam wanted, so I am taking her to town bootsing tomorrow + hopefully to use the rest of my wrinklies up as well. maybe, maybe not, depends on what will be there. lol.

    Anyway...
    trans 1.

I took something back £8 odd cos it wasn't nice + exchanged it for NO7 daycream £8.30 ( SA nearly went to pick up £19.50 one! .. I said noooo lol ) + I got NO7 handcream, sa then went + got me a GWP + said I get one free for over £18, I said Thank you... obviously thought I didn't know lol.
Then I gave her £5 perkie + £5 acm ( cos the acm gave me + my mam both some £5 off P+P + it would of been a shame to not use them up :D so I gladly did )
    total = free.

    trans 2.
    olay thermal polish £6.84.
    NO7 bliss body wash £7.80.
cream egg to take it over £5 yummy.
used wrinklie + perkie = £5.09 to pay
    earned blinkie + perkie.
    got 250 points GWP + 100 points acm + 8 normal points = 358
    boots logic = £1.51.

    trans 3, 4 + 5.

NO7 hand cream used £5 acm + £5 perkie each time
    = free.

    trans 6.
    JF serum used hairy
    = free.

    trans 7.
    JF hair spray = £2.44 - hairy
    = 44p.

    trans 8.
    2 x new herbal essence 400ml conditioner .. normal hair = ½ price @ £1.61 each
    = £3.22 + 200 points.

so I paid £8.75 for all of them above
    + gained 558 points
    = boots logic £3.17....

    also bought 3 x toothpaste ½ price + 342 used points = 179
    + bought 2 x hair dyes 2 for £8 = 800 points.

    4 wrinklies to use up tomorrow + 2 more £5 acm P+P.

I also gave my mam ...
    JF Hairspray
    NO7 handcream
    + a GWP

So my mam was happy :j

    + I had a good day :j

  • Hi everyone, sorry been quiet for a while, but been busy and to be honest theres not been much happening to talk about.

Anyway, I ventured off to Norwich today *****dons tin hat***** and managed to find 7 herbals! You are slacking Norwich bootsers!!! :rotfl:

Bought 4 more olay face washes bringing my tally of these to 16. Well at least I'll grow old with nice skin! Also found some tony and guy stuff and my fave was a regeneriste gift pack for 6 quid (or a quid with a wrinklie). Just got two more wrinklies to use now. Oh I found some bergasol tanning oils and other sun lotions all reduced to 3 quid so got myself a couple of those too. wombled a couple more wrinklies and No7's too which was nice.

I won't tell you about my haul of baby wipes from asda though. :D:D:D

EDIT......I meant to say, I won't be back in Norwich for a while but chapelthorpe have about a dozen of the greasy roots dry ends shampoos in the stockroom but they are scanning at full price even though the conditioners were 73p so worth badgering staff there tomorrow IMO just in case. There were a few of the dark blue conditioner on the shelf too and these bucked the trend by scanning at full price too. Hope that helps someone. Oh and the bergasol stuff was in riverside.....plenty of it there too.

Hi Polls :hello: Nice to see you are back, we have missed your posts too:)
  • All makes perfect sense, thanks for explaining. So if you were only to get a P and P lip care (use £5 ACM and £5 perkie) would the SS tills refund you the value?? or is it best to get something to make up the credit to disguise this?

    Just a thought....

As per OP's post SS tills appear to give change but I'd feel quite uncomfortable as the SS SA's can guard cmrs like hawks... imagine not only getting it free but being pd in cash (with change) 2 take it away...:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

  • Hi Sarahdol & All

After posting above i have just looked at my receipts from the other day spent over £5 on two seperate transactions at the pharmacy counter (non medicine goods) and no mention on either reciept that I should have earnt either voucher. Thought I was missing some:mad:

Two mins later did another couple of transactions at main tills (different products though) but still spent over £5 and gained both wriklie & purkie.

Anyone know If there are exclusions i.e if goods have been reduced mulitibuys, certain products etc etc. where you dont earn the current voucher

Also what can we both do about it.

Hope some of you long time posters will be able to shed some light on this and sarahdols problem

    TIA

    VQ

Sorry to quote myself but just wanted to thank everyone who posted to clear up the above, i'm sure I thanked everyone but just in case :T :T and thanks again, I now feel confident enough to go back to the store and speak very nicely to SA/Manager, not going to ring CS dont want to draw attention to myself ;)

Hope this helps Sarahdolls as well in her quest to claim what is rightfully hers i.e. Her Purpley:rotfl:

You are a great bunch on here and i'm loving my Bootsing trips:D
