  • Hi all.
I managed to pick up 2 of the small silver brag books in Shrewsbury Pride Hill store on Saturday, they were reduced to about 75p - although not really sure why I bought them as I don't really need them...if anyone has any suggestions of what I could do with them, PM me ;)
Didn't really find any other bargains...I got the Lacoste Touch of Pink perfume and free gift set, and also used the 750pts coupon from Cosmo. It didn't scan, so I told SA that same happened to a friend and it had to be manually added. I was chatting to the SA until her supervisor came over to add the points for me and it was only then that I realised the voucher actually said "Love of Pink" not "Touch of Pink". Luckily the SA didn't check what I'd bought and just added the points :o
Also got reduced toothpaste, NC cupcakes and a few other bits from Meole Brace store....
Still have about 6 wrinklies and 4 hairies to use tomorrow
The 750 pts voucher didn't work for me either, and i bought 50ml love of pink! it beeped, but sa added them manually
  • I forgot to mention in my earlier post, Swansea Quadrant had the £5 off wys £25 leaflets upstairs on the photo counter (along with a 1/3 off voucher, I didn't read it but I think it was photo related). There were also loads of the 17 silver clutch bags on top of the 17 stand, I didn't check what these went through.
hi,the silver no17 bags are going through for £1 not really worth it though imho.
not much clearance left,either..but loads of the £25 leaflets sitting around.

You could always try, and if it doesn't work, leave it. I don't know if the Refine & Rewind is different here than what they sell in the States, but I thought the R&R sold at Target in the States was the same thing as the P&P sold here. And if that's the case and she's using the R&R you can get in the States, you could just stock up on some P&P for her here, getting another gwp and Perkie each time to use on the next one with an ACM voucher, so you could hand her a stash of them plus gwps and let her repay you the 6 quid each (or 8.50 in actual cash if not doing boots math with the points, lol).

Thanks, skibster - I will try, and if it doesn't work, I'll still be able to use the perkie and 250 pointers - and OH's over-60's... wish I didn't have to drag him around to make it work!
If it was the P&P that would be brill - but I've just had a look on the Target website (thanks for telling me about it), and they have no P&P, but they do have Restore & Renew, and, Refine & Rewind. Reading the reviews, it seems that Restore.... is the US version of P&P - so it is Refine and Rewind I'll need.
Am hoping to hand over four bottles(?) of R&R, and a GWP each for her, her Mum, 'aunt', OH and Dad - we have quite a get together once a year (and I get treated to special lunch out!).
Hope I can get out tomorrow to try to use my P&P ACMs........

Ok. Who here cleaned out the London Colney Boots of Olay Total Effects Cream Wash?! There were about 20 on the shelf yesterday and today not one!

Never mind. I got my fair share and am pleased.

Still not too happy about not getting the P&P voucher from the ACM. There seems to be no logic as to who gets what. I don't see why we can't all get the same offers to make it fair.

Also looking forward to the new deals from Wednesday.

    Hi

I didn't get the P&P voucher or the NC Voucher either.

Mr B must think I have got lots of money because I recvd the 1/3rd of voucher for PP via email. He would be wrong to think this.

Luton was out of Olay TE which was no surprise really.

I agree - those silver bags look like something I'd give to the kids to play with, and definitely not something I'd want to show off
  • Evening all, forgot to mention earlier that the sanctuary sets were reduced in my local but to £4.50 so left them. Went to a smaller boots a couple of miles away and they were on sale for £1.27 on sel but none left:p. The lovely sa said that there would be a new gwp on wednesday, is this usually the case? Also do look out for Fcuk reduced lipgloss, £1.2x and 342. Hth

Also this breeding wrinkly business is getting out of hand, handed some over to an older lady in the queue at the till who was holding some td skin treats and she was so chuffed. Also pointed out some clearance dnage to another lady as she wanted to use her vouchers and when she found it and paid she came back to thank me. Its great making people happy. I also handed a few wrinklies to mums at school and a neighbour, so thats my good deed for the day done:D.The sa told me i was very sweet, to which i replied, i love to spread around some of my good karma. And it really does feel nice to do it too!
You laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

The TS root cover-up I bought yesterday (for points;) ) are for red hair (I have brown hair:rotfl: ) if any redheads here would like one or two, you're welcome to them:D

If anyone else needs some red root touch up, I also bought a few for points and as I have blonde hair I wondered whether anyone else would like one?

Went on a magical mystery tour of 5 boots today!

Coatbridge and motherwell had reduced SEL for the sanctuary sets but none left:(

Hamilton (palace grounds and centre) and EK retail park sanctuary sets price checked at £6.85.

Heard one SA in coatbridge say to another that there were a couple of 'the cheap huggies starter packs in the stockroom for her'. i had a look on the shelves but couldn't see any, but may be worth a check if u are in.
